Hello everyone, How is afk farming with summon in Sophilia’s Bedroom even allowed? There are usually no available rooms for people that actually want to level up or manually farm the map. I have leveled from 75 to almost 80 in this map but its amazing the amount of channels with people just afk farming with their summon and denying the opportunity to others...
In Royals, ppl need to pick up the stuff drop by the mobs they killed by summons. The pets are not able to detect the stuffs drop in this way. If you really wanna find a place to grind, I believe there are more places to fit your level now. If you are a preist, go Ghost Ship 6 and spamming heal at 2nd floor of the map is pretty satisfying. If you are the other jobs, go Wolf Spider's cavern to kill those strong mobs, tough but nice exp and fine meso earning. Or just go Malaysia to kill those amusement park mobs. Or, join PPQ to meet some ppl. Quite fun(Although the exp is not that good, but it's not as boring as grinding, I think). Sophilia’s Bedroom is not the only option to grind at all. Have fun with your journey!
You will find 13/20 channels of Sophilia's bedroom without mapowner because summon attacks don't contribute to mapownership and many people are too lazy to attack manually. Feel free to hijack those maps .
This is fair, its just like good ole maplestory, you have to feed your pet constantly, and summon a new one.
Personally I don't think there's anything to blacklist here... at least not in the blacklist thread, but within guild, sure...
Thanks for the reply guys, @Kai yes from my understanding pets won't loot what the monsters killed by the summon dropped. Regardless, they only need to do two clicks per minute (Summon again and feed the pet). After two or three minutes loot everything and re center the character in the middle of the map. How are all those mobs being killed during those time frames while the client isn't even being touched not afk farming? You will see characters facing a wall, not even with their summon, or dying because of how hard they afk. @GleamKnight of course there are other maps. But I can do some decent mesos in my opinion as a new not funded player without much trouble by farming manually one or two hours a day. These players or multi client characters are not even putting effort while profiting. On a side note I'm currently at lvl l116 and I wrote this post when I was 75 and no I didn't trained all those levels in Sophila's. @sparky95 thanks for the tip it was pretty helpfull, I'm usually taking those maps now but the amount of afk farmers are usuallly 18/20 or sometimes full . I find it really hard to understand why would a player that wants to manually farm a map should have any trouble finding an available map because of afk farmers.
