When resetting automated shops you need to reset them slightly before the 24 hour timer is up, to prevent losing your shop spot. It would be a major quality of life improvement to have them last for 25 hours instead. This way we could reset them at the same time every day and the time would not slide back day after day. It is often a source of stress to keep checking your shops for the timer as you dont have a consistent time for the reset. I realise this is a slight buff for the automated shops, so you could adjust the nx price accordingly.
I think its fair that it is stressful to maintain a constant position in a good spot. I don't want the stress so I usually have a not so great spot somewhere in ch11 nowadays. But making it easier to maintain good spots for long term, sounds pretty unfair to me. As in, it makes it less likely that some lucky people come by and get a good spot sometimes. This would benefit rich players and contribute further to the death of a player base that simply wants to play a nostalgic server I think. Edit: However I might be too pesimistic there, since the player base of nostalgic players currently dies off due to other reasons, so one could say, who cares if there is another nail in the coffin. And this one is probably not even a little spikey so yea i dont know ...
agreed with lee, however i maybe think resetting the timer should be done simply by visiting the shops, and shorteringing the expiration time for shops. my last time spent before returning sever was full of hackers dcing u when u reopened good spots, idk if there still is this sort of problem still exists though, for my shop top tier placement doesnt matter
I don't think that a change like this is necessary. The timer is a good check for people and it allows for more turnover in shop spots. If you're worried about the timer being pushed back too far for yourself you can always just reset it twice in a day. Once earlier, and then again later at the time you're comfortable with.
Whenever I had my shop up, what I would do was reset my shop twice hours apart which would let me reset at the same time would want my shop to be up. I think this also helps to combat people who are camping fm spots as they usually watch to see when you set up your shop. I personally haven't had a problem with campers though or with trying to reset my shop.
