Hello, I am trying to get a hold of Mark of Heroism in order to pass the Crimsonwood mountain JQ. However, Lukan does not activate The Brewing Storm.

Is there an alternate way to get Mark of Heroism? If not, can a way be supplied to players that bypasses The Brewing Storm?

I am extremely bad at JQ, that's why I am interested :)

this is the one with the 50k damage poles? They don't hurt you here, thus the jump quest is extremely easy. Just wait until the pole is right in front of you and starts moving away, then follow it.

The giant pole doesn't even do damage to you. It hits you but it doesn't actually deal any damage.

Mark of heroism drops from phantom trees. It doesn't work either way. As others said, the poles don't hurt you so don't worry about it!

I haven't done that JQ in a long long time so I forgot what the map is like- but even without the pole hurting you, if you lag a lot would it still even be possible to pass? Often times I try to walk and my computer locks up, making my avatar walk forward/backward/whatever direction I was going in for a good 10 seconds or more before releasing. JQs are near impossible for me because of this. ;_; I would hate to be stuck unable to do the JQ and get to the place just because of my computer.

You only have to jump up on platforms to reach the end, and each map only takes 20-40 seconds to pass, so I hardly think it's likely to be an issue, even if it takes you a few tries.

I agree that it is easier since you are invulnerable to the pole.

However, the point of the Mark of Heroism quest is that you put in the time/effort for the quest to eliminate the time needed to pass the JQ, and helps with training at CW.
