Im a spearman lv34 doing low damage in pqs, Im doing much less than others at my level. my stats: 110 str 72 dex 73 accuracy neither of my first job attacking skills are past 10 most of the time I hit 1's or really low damage when im doing kpq or cpq with the occasional 200. Im used to the new maple where nothing matters and you hit 1k at level 30.
Spearman -> Dark Knight, later on, doesn't require any dex for equips unlike nearly every other class in the game. Investing a little dex at the beginning as an unfunded player is a reasonable decision but 72 is a bit too much. At max, I would have suggested adding ~40 dex but even that would need resetting past the 4th job. Your character lacks in damage because of the missing strength stats that were invested on dex instead. This isn't a death sentence so you will be able to rectify the mistake later but it will cost quite a bit. Since your character is still at a low level, I think restarting the character while referring to the latest Drk guide might save you more time and effort if you don't mind the repetition.
Heya! I don't see any point you should restart Game isn't about being the bestest. But to help you with your low damage issue, there are some steps you can take. Sell 1 fame for 1m (so its quick). Go to showa town to buy 1 fish spear, and bathrobe. Go to kerning city sewer and get 100% scroll for overall dex, 100% scroll for spear att. Start the quest in naora hospital in kerning by speaking to jane doe. Buy a goumashin at kerning city armour store. She will ask u to collect 20 mirror, go to perion. Go to the forums giving thread and where someone is giving 6 dex earrings for free. Then go to land of wild boar OR land of wild boar 2 (more walking, no boogies). Hunt there until you get a maple impaler with 70 wa or more. You should be able to get 20 mirrors by then. Go npc all your other eqs, then head to sleepywood, hunt at zombie mushrooms for 100 charms of undead. Go back kerning to finish the quest, you should get the old raggedy cape, sell it for 20m to other players. Buy an 8 wa wg for 1m? Then do kpq until you get a slime shoes. Add str as you level. By this time you should be around level 40. Do mc pq, pick up the coins to get a spiegelmann's necklace.
Your first and most important priority is to max your weapon mastery skills, be it spear and/or pole arm. This increases your minimum damage done and rids you of dealing '1's'. Having a little higher dex is nothing detrimental, you could always remove excess dex into strength later on.
For warriors in general, I usually get around 60 dex maximum, that is if I have no access to some high dex equips. For 1st job, you can ignore endure or the hp recovery passive until the point which you need to dump the rest of your points. In 2nd job warrior, doesn't matter which, you need to just ignore Final Attack altogether. Unless you plan on using power strike the whole way until you get new attacks, final attack will ruin your damage per second/minute by splitting damage between all the enemies you hit with slash blast. Ex: if you hit 1 enemy with slash blast and final attack activates, it works as intended, but if you hit 6 enemies, it will cut the final attack hit down to 1/6th of the damage you were supposed to do. If you don't have any money around level 50-60, you can try going to new leaf city's phantom forest to farm leprechauns. They are for level 45 and drop level 60-80 equips, so after a few times of selling your inventory you will get an easy 50m. In 2nd job, I generally focus on getting 5 or 6 on weapon booster, and then I max out the mastery skill, since it tightens your range by a lot. An easy way to increase your accuracy at early levels is by getting a bathrobe from showa town for 20k, and then go to one of the scroll sellers, like the one in the kerning swamp, and then buying 10 overall scrolls for dex 100%. This will give you an easy 10 dex overall that has a bit of extra speed for only 320k mesos, and believe me it's a huge boost. Other than that, I would offset the lack of dex at early levels with a maple weapon at level 35/43. It's fairly easy to farm most maple weapons early on, and you can get some scrolls for those very easily as well. I like to use the Royals Library for finding where common farming locations for items are, and it also shows the possible stats that item can have when dropped by an enemy. If you have any further questions about playing warriors, I'd be happy to answer!
