I apologize to @Kenny for being rude in shoutbox earlier.. and @Becca and other GMs too.. i must admit that i lost it when i see Emiya banned for rwt...its just absurd to me... Emiya is like that one friend who is just impossible to be involved in RWT. I believe everyone who play this game long enuf would hv a few of such friends. They are players who just play this game for the sake of enjoying...who doesnt even care about progress and just purely enjoying the game and community. Although this doesnt justify my behaviour, i apologize again..and i sincerely hope more can be done for emiya's case
It's okay I don't blame you. I wouldn't be happy if my friends got banned too. Those who got banned usually make up some story in an attempt to save face or make staff look bad by portraying the ban as a false ban. They always bring up the point of "innocent before proven guilty", but believe it or not, this is how we operate too. We have logs of all your transactions, and hence we have evidence behind every ban. We ask questions in the appeal to cross-reference with our logs and to eliminate the possibility of false positive bans. However, if we see a lie, then the appeal is then going downhill real fast. Trust me, we want to post the evidence too and expose the lies just like you and everybody else do, but we cannot. This evidence will only make illegitimate players sniff out another way to gain an unfair advantage in the future and we cannot let that happen. But I will give you some more information about your "friend" 's appeal here because I admire you for defending your "friend" in this appeal https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-apeall-or-no.221828/. EmiyaAlter received 12att PAC and 18att BWG on his/her mule JustCarly from a rwt-seller in June 2023 The accounts were flagged with rwt and banned EmiyaAlter appealed and claim his/her friend zSakura provided the gear. And further claim that zSakura is ghosting EmiyaAlter However, zSakura's accounts haven't been logged since September 2022. And the rwt-seller character was created in 2023. There is no interaction between the two account Needless to say, the rwt-seller was banned as well. There are no other reasonable explanations other than EmiyaAlter bought meso via rwt, and use his/her friend as a scapegoat. To make it worse, EmiyaAlter is not the only one claiming that rwt-seller is his/her friend. I am not sure why he/she insists on associating his/her so-called friend's accounts with an rwt-seller. I would be very disappointed if I were zSakura.
No hard feelings! As Kenny said we understand the frustration, especially when you see a friend getting banned. It’s a rollercoaster finding out about distasteful information about people you considered a friend in any situation, so we’re kinda used to taking the blame for most of these appeals and how they play out publicly. Unfortunately most people will lie to their friends if they are doing something sketchy and then get caught. I know it’s easier to believe your friend than Staff members, which is why I personally don’t take it to heart when people get upset/mad– but it can be a bit frustrating if I’m being honest. The frustration bit usually comes from when people still choose to ignore the facts we provide and still claim it’s a false ban because "My fRiEnD wOuLD nEvEr Do ThAt" when in reality they don’t really know the person they considered a friend all too well. It's to be expected though, given most of these friendships are online and you can’t really see how they act in person for the most part so it's not really anyone's fault in these kinds of situations, and then when everything comes to light most people react in different ways. Yours was to defend your friend and I don't see anything wrong with that, I would've done the same thing in your situation tbh. The way you acted showed your character judgment and there’s nothing to be ashamed of for that. It just means that you want to see the good inside of everyone, and that’s not a bad trait to have. But in the same vein, that's what these people want. They want people like you to feel bad for them so you can defend them. I've been there many times seeing friends get banned before I joined Staff over the years, and watching them spin stories in Discord/Forum trying to gain any sympathy without knowing the full story. Thank you for the apology, and I’m really sorry this is the way you had to find out about your friend’s motives.
