An HP Warrior's Journey (Lvl 48 Solos Pianus)

So I shall document all the bosses I solo with my HP Warrior.

Quick explanation: An HP Warrior puts all their AP into HP. Then they max out Power Guard, and are able to return 25% damage back onto the attacker. So if Pianus does 4k damage to me, I do 1k back. If Horntail's tail does 30k damage to me, I do 7,500 back everytime it hits me. The true beauty of this is that I only need to hit Power Guard every 90 seconds, or just hold it down. Also, I can kill anything that can't 1 shot me (realistically 2 shot, considering the lagg of auto pot...)

So *thats* why you smegad about the "If there's a pianus under 100% HP I'm working on it". That's kinda neat, but jeez that patience. 7 hours. Was that consecutive? How'd you not go bored? lol

 

Btw were you wearing nothing to lower your wep/mag. def?

I remember someone in Basilmarket way back in the day that had a 7x HP Crusader before 4th job. Truly one of the most unique accounts I can think of.

 

Considering I often spend 7 hours gaming/watching TV, it isn't hard to switch to that window and hit Power Guard every 90 seconds. Ideally, I just watch TV and hit a button on my wireless keyboard every so often xD

 

This was fun when you could kill the LPQ golems.

I will be paying someone 1bil to take out the bodyguards for me once I have some more monies, so that I'm not throwing out a 3rd of my mesos. Or if my i/l is a high enough lvl at that point to take them out, whichever one comes first :3 Aaaand, I have to have a day when I'm planning to be a couch potato for 10+ hours.

 

I could take out the bodyguards for you- but I'd need someone to duo with (preferably someone with SE or an SE mule).
Last time a buddy and I duo'd it took us about an hour and a half to do the two bodyguards.

I might be able to find a friend to duo with me, just add me in game and we can figure out times

@Gossamer what would you train on for lower levels? Ideally without being leeched.

 

orbis etc to 21. kpq to 30. cpq to 48. then i trained on Pianus

Takes effort to seriously down a boss for few hours.

Haha just to let you know, I've just started a HP warrior under the Ironman challenge. So that means I can't party and do PQs prior to hitting level 41, wish me luck haha. If I need any advice I'd be sure to contact you thank you!
