Closed Animated Avatars

It was working when the forum upgraded to the current state, but after trying to help someone else out, it doesn't seem to work as it use to. Is there a specific type of file or added code that's needed to have the avatars perform correctly? I know @Matt did something during the first few days of the new forum design and it worked, but I pretty much tried the exact same method I did before to no avail. Any ideas? @Chokladkakan

 

I would love to find out how it works \o/ I've currently got it to work only when you view my profile, but otherwise it won't work.

 

I can't seem to even get animated avatars to upload anymore hehe. Perhaps Plenty will have better luck then I.

 

Doesn't even seem to accept gifs as avatars anymore.

Able to upload photo, but not animating properly.

 

Same problem as Plenty here. Doesn't seem to upload gifs at all, tried different sizes as well.

@Plenty What browser do you use, as you were able to upload.
