    Do you read manga?
What kind of manga you read?
    Which are your favorites?

I read manga a lot, done it since I was a kid. Nowadays I read it online instead. I read many different manga all from comedy, adventure and love to detective, psychological and action. Many manga that have ended that also had good anime episodes were mangas such as FMA, Deat Note, Attack on Titans or Deadman Wonderland.

I read One Piece a lot since the current arc is the best one so far IMO and we have barely gotten to the best part yet, they're amping up all the hype and I think the climax will be epic. It's my favorite manga and I have followed it for almost 8 years now and watched all anime episodes and manga. I also read The Gamer and Hunter X Hunter. Those are my top 3 atm.

What do you guys have to share? ;)

Like when you were little, I use to read a whole bunch all the time you until high school. I mostly read and borrow the manga selection that was available at my local library until the internet got it's item selection. I remember borrowing 10+ books at a time and completely reading through them in less than 2 days.

My favorite are Rorouni Kenshin and the Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters series.

You just recapped how I used to read manga when I was younger, I could read 5 manga in one day. Totally know the feeling! And Rorouni Kenshin and Yu-Gi-Oh brings backs so many memories.

It's a shame that Borders went out of business. I remember sitting for hours in the Manga Section binge reading anything and everything I could get my hands on that they had in a chronological series i.e no missing numbers.

Another good one I read was Getbackers. Read and watched the entire series not to long ago.

From Middle School to now, I am. Used to love Naruto up until the Pain Arc ended, but I kept hoping it would get better. Inuyasha, used to love, but haven't caught up. Dragon Ball, haven't read yet after all these years, but substituting with DBZ Kai, with Bruce Falconer music =) - Initial D is a great anime, not sure if they continued though. So much to catch up on.

Since you like The Gamer I'm sure you will also appreciate Tower of God.

My top 3 of manga/manwha is:
    1. Gamaran (a manga about martial arts)
    2. Tower of God (manwha about a game like tower)
    3. Cage of Eden (Schooltrip ends with a crash on a strange island)

Been reading for quite awhile. Currently reading Rei Gaiden very slowly along with Hokuto no Ken. Not sure what my favorite manga is. Has to be a tie between Kurosawa, Punpun, or Akira. I'd say JoJo but that's cheating.

I've been collecting Hunter x Hunter since 2006. It has 32 volumes.. It's been on hiatus for 5 years, Togashi's such a couch potato.
It's finally started again tho'. After 5 f*cking years! Can't wait for vol. 33!!

I mostly read battle action shounens.

There are many reasons as to why. But here's a few of them which most relate to action filled manga/anime: Many times fights look way better in manga than in animes. Fights where there is a lot of action and blood is dulled in anime. No blood, poorly drawn effects and sometimes but rarely bad fighting music(many soundtracks are great though) and in the biggest ones OP and Naruto I prefer the manga because in the anime the fights are drawn out. Like for example attacks which are blocked usually don't take too long before the blocking is broken up by either of them pushing hard enough to break the block or counter attack are DRAWN OUT TO BUILD SUSPENSE WHICH MAKES THE FIGHTS SO BAD. Just type on YT Luffy Grizzly Magnum. He's best attack which in the manga instantly KO'D the bad guy showed him having power struggle using that attack therefore making cool finishers look totally dull.

I can go on forever but I'd rather keep it short because many who haven't read manga or grown up with it don't understand this. Many great mangas aren't even animated yet...

    3. Golden boy ( if you have seen the OVAs you know that Goldenboy is one of the most legendary 18+ manga fromt he 90's)

Yea i read alot of old school mangas from the 90s.

This http://myanimelist.net/mangalist/i0rx is what I've read so far. Many of them are on hold because there are no English translations for the next chapters.
My favorite manga are probably: Darwin's Game, Drifters, High school of the Dead, Kangoku Gakuen (lewd but funny), Sun-ken Rock and To Love-Ru Darkness(lewd & cute).
Out of the Shounen top list I enjoy reading Shingeki no Kyojin and One Piece more than the others.

If you're looking for a good completed manga I suggest: Green Blood.
If you wanna pick up a long running less-known Shounen Manhwa read: The Breaker followed up by The Breaker: New Waves.

I also watch a lot of anime: http://myanimelist.net/animelist/i0rx

    Ask me anything about either.
