Hi guys, I am a lv 101 mage with LUK (I know this could decrease your overall magic attack, I just want to wear those high lv robes for some nostalgic reasons). I am wondering that why it seems that there are not so many high-level staffs or wands for mage with LUK and with good scrolls add-ons. I have searched the free market, and I could find some lv 90-110 weapons for mage with LUK, but most of them are still scroll free. It seems like every mage above lv 100 is using elemental wands. Can anybody explain this to me? Thank you!
People don't tend to play luk mages so no one scrolls gear for them. Elewands will also just be much higher tma than almost every luk wand/staff anyways (wand 5 is 147 average, dragon staff is 125), except staff 5-8 which you might occasionally find but still... why bother scrolling and selling something that no one's going to buy?
Because lukless Elemental wands are literally everywhere and lukless + the luk requirements for the meta mid-late game options are easily achieved with HTP + Zhelm + Dojo + Medal + Krex ring + Event rings. As a luk mage, your luk weapon options are honestly limited 103/163 Ele-staves (note that F/P can level from 80-120 with literally anything so even more useless for them) because they aren't awful, with the 163 option being pretty good/okay if you're dedicated enough to get the luk req to wear. Other than those all of the other luk options are pretty mediocre/detrimental so we just stick to Ele-wands. For equips most people tend to stop at the 50-90 luk requirement range because beyond that there isn't really a reason to equip anything past that with your "endgame" shoe needing like 73 luk. High level overalls are a little bit more complicated because even though the 110 option is there that's honestly a lot of work/mesos scrolling it for like the 5 people that actually main Archmage/Bishop. The demand just isn't there Luckily for you though if you stick to using staves scrolling is crazy cheap, so you can keep at it until you get something nice and most of the low level overall/shoe options are easily available anyway
