Hi guys, are there any tactics for higher pass rate? My friend just joined and turned level 50 today, so I tried to scroll him a int/ma cape as a gift but failed so miserably. The majority of my 60% scrolls are failing on all equipments! These happened consecutively within a 25minutes span. All 60% scrolls were used 1) 2/5 (40% rate) 2) 3/8 passed (37.5% rate) 3) 1/5 pass (20% rate).. Absolutely terrible All 3 consecutive eqs got way under average results consecutively. Not sure if I'm doing anything wrong Ps. I hardly ever scroll anything because all past results were similar. I just thought the capes in fm were a little pricy so I decided to DIY
There's no tactics and you aren't doing anything wrong. When you use a 60% scroll, theres 40% chance for it to fail regardless of what you were doing before or after, you just got unlucky like many of us. It really doesn't go deeper than that...
That is just how probability works It isn't right to see that as a 20% or 40% as each scrolling doesn't affect each other's success rate (individual events) Here are the actual chances of "always passing" the 60% rate
Yup I do understand the math. I was wondering if there's a tactic in scrolling or I simply got really unlucky there. Eg for the last cape alone, the probability of passing 1 out of 5 60% scroll is only 7.68%. This does not include the fact that 3 consecutive capes were also below average But looks like unlucky is simply the answer from the response! Ps. The reason for my question was because I saw several members buying "junk scrolls" to scroll inbetween their actual equipments. Not sure if there's a strategy there
They call this "trick" as dummy scrolling Is just for good luck and doesn't actually affect the scrolling outcome However you may try it out if have faith in it - failing a bunch of 10% before scrolling 60%
Dummy scrolling is probably a hidden thing that is definitely not programmed but kinda like rule of the world. There's a thing called "accumulative fortune" meaning you can't be lucky or unlucky forever. You can be unlucky with your scrolling but hey you might get lucky with sth else.
I don't think that's the right way of describing "can't be lucky or unlucky forever", it is just how the probability works Chances of something occurring in a row are very unlikely (applies to both successful and failing scrolls) *my worst scrolling experience is failing about 22 x 60% in a row Slight off-topic: I am placing emphasis on how probability works cause lots of gambling addicts lose tons of money in the casino as they try to reason about how they would eventually win back the money - "I already lost 10 times in a row, so I would surely win the next round"

You can't really take casino as an example of accumulative fortune because they litterally rig the game so they always win in the end lmao
There are ways.. I passed 7 slot gear all the way to +7 and i passed +10 all the way to +9 to +10. I passed all the 5 slot items to +5 too.
