Hiyall! Im from Alberta and i'm looking to travel a bit this summer. Im looking at 2 specific places. Panorama Mountain Resort and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. We already been to fernie so that's not currently on the list. My question is, which of those 2 places should i go for a 2~3 day trip? I been reading online but theres alot of useless information. Accomodation/pricing looks about the same, but the current vibe im getting is Kicking Horse has alot more to do in the resort itself (Bear sanctuary, rock climbing, hiking etc.) and Golden has the bridge. However, Kicking horse also looks to be more Tourisy than Panorama, correct me if im wrong. We're so use to Banff and don't know if we just want to go another place that's "Tourisy". Panorama looks just like golfing ( I don't golf) and it looks like the resort itself is bigger (outdoor pool?) but it has less to do. The main attactions looks to actualy be Invermere that's nearby (it has a lake!). me and my partner we really enjoy hiking and sightseeing and having some good areas to be alone with nature. Which Resort should we go to? And are there any "Hidden gems" the locals knows about near those areas that aren't in the travel itinaries? or any other locations around that i'm missing?
