IGN: BobKhalifa Problem: items disappear for good after i drop them Details: logged in, retrieved my items that had been in my shop storage for 51 days and after that i tried to give items to other account. anything i drop gets disappeared. equips, etc, mesos. I tried to drop white verstal materia and pressed zzz on other acc without much looking, later realised i dont have it on either account and nobody was around to pick it up. Realised it might be like untreadeble, checked that white verstal materia is tradeable, bought another one, gave it in trade. later i dropped a blue beach chair to give it to my other acc and that also didnt appear anywhere. Then realising the issue wasn't a one time thing and trying to drop mesos, also nothing appears but money does go down. lost 1x white verstal materia and 1x blue beach chair - not much, but big issue. it randomly works and does not work. what, now i can drop again. (before i dropped the chair and after i dropped the materia i think, i did drop an item or two that did come through, by the time i was writing this items did not appear, and now they do again.)
That sounds like a lag issue, did the items just totally disappear upon dropping? *would strongly recommend transfer items via trading as we are unable to provide rollbacks if items are lost due to unstable network or disconnections
Hello! Items totally disappeared yes, no animation even like you would have it on an untradeable item. I never really had any lag issues or d/c s in the game. even in the past when everyone d/c'ed in zakum I never did. I have lightning cable stable 500/500 internet from my part. (not ruling it out ofc, but my Internet is fine in that sense) To add to this. It only happened on one account. 2nd noob account was able to drop items fine. AND when i picked up the item on my main that was dropped by multicliented noob acc, I was able to drop it again fine. And also other items.(so it was indeed an on/off thing like some server issue might do) After that I X'ed the game and no more testing.
As I am unable to replicate the situation, did you take any recordings of the mentioned issue? *gif or mp4 format
Nah I did not, unfortunately I just could not be bothered and closed the game. I'll try again later today if it occurs I could record it.
As currently there isn't anyone else reporting a similar situation, I will be monitoring for a few days to see if anyone else will come forward with the same report
