If there was to be an NPC or shop that would sell AP resets, how much should they cost?

Poll is multiple choice and public.

In my opinion I think they should be between 15m-25m each.

I voted other because I still believe they should be tradeable regardless of an NPC or not. :|

I don't think it's should even be sold from an npc..
It's gives alot to the economy when we the players can buy & sell them and set the price ourselves , it's much more fun and helps low levels gain some money from high levels , it's balancing the server in some way

also i think they should be tradeable , i have 50 on my bish and i think it's redicilous if i'll have to pay so much money to have them on my nl..

also i have no idea how can people abuse it , but it's seems to be the reason for ap resets being untradeable , but what if we could (by NPC) exchance ap resets for an unique item and sell / buy with this item and then exhange it back to ap resets once we sell / buy.

I think they should be made tradeable again too, as I can't really see how they can be abused, unlike gacha tickets. I don't have any particular problem with them also being available from an npc for mesos, but it's not something I can ever see myself using.

I liked them as drops and that they could be traded/bought/sold.

Instead of straight forward drop, make the monsters drop items that can be traded for AP resets for a small fee. People can still buy them from people if they feel like they are more valuable than the fee, and speed up their own progress. The NPC will take some money away from the community, but the people can still play with the prices as they see fit. Prices won't easily turn out to be too expensive or too cheap, when it fluctuates around the players instead of being constant.

Abusing wise, I can't see anything there. Having AP resets and Gacha ticks as drops is the problem, if we wanted to compare this to other servers, not the fact that some people see good business opportunities in buying them.

I'd suggest between 15-20m each from the NPC and I highly recommend lower the drop rate of those by one step.
The reason why is because the money you'll earn money are way too easy both on low and high leveled characters that are specialized with AoE spells. This will cause a high threat on the economy and will only make ap reset less likely valuable

I feel like they should be tradeable and there should be an NPC selling them. I mean. I feel like none of my characters will ever need AP resets. They don't drop THAT often. They will just be wasted on characters like my own. But if I ever did make a character that needed them and was highly lacking in them, then of course I'd have the NPC to put my mesos into which would help take the countless amount of mesos we have floating around our econ out. There are plenty of lazy people who have tons of mesos that would most likely rather do it that way anyways. Then let's not forget to mention. Making them tradeable will make it so people like myself who don't need them can trade them to people who DO need them. ( Who doesn't like mesos? ) And if I made a character who might need them as previously suggested, then I could take the few that I get on my other characters and send them via like storage to my other character. And when I'm desperate because they haven't been dropping and no one is on selling them. I'll go buy them off the NPC. To be honest, I am one of those lazy people I mentioned that probs would go to an NPC before going to the FM. >_> Except that I don't have tons of mesos. But I have enough to buy some when and if I need them ever.

    With that said.
    TL:DR
    I'd like them tradeable.
    and
An NPC selling them at likely 20mil

I chose "Other" on the poll.

I agree with what Briceyo said, in that if you make them easily accessible, then people will take advantage of that, and there will be a power imbalance. I posit that this holds true even if they sell for 25,000,000 mesos (the highest suggested price).

I also heavily concur with Imkziza's point of view: allowing the players to freely trade AP resets contributes a major factor to the economy.

I strongly feel that by simply making them trade-able once again (and no other subsequent action), then it eliminates the necessity for having a NPC sell AP resets, and it retains a stronger challenge (and therefore better nostalgia factor) by decreasing the unrestrained accessibility to an infinite pool of AP resets vis-a-vis NPC, and having to depend on the natural economy of the server and/or your own luck in obtainment of them.

However, if their "tradability" is not an option, then in the alternative, have them sell for a seeming exorbitant amount of money - like maybe 100mil each. Why? To maintain (or facilitate, depending on how you do it) the challenge in obtaining them, and preventative measures to hamper abuse of them. Think about it this way - we already start out with 4/4/4/4 stats...the only reason we use AP resets is to either - 1) "HP Wash"; or 2) to make our characters even more strong, or over-powered. Short-term this may seem cruel, but envision this scenario: As the server population grows in level, the average player level increases to 120+, mesos become easier to earn, and AP resets are sold for even 25 million....what's the challenge anymore?

Also, I've been reading a few posts that suggest having BOTH options as available. My thoughts on this is that it is a bad idea! The reason is because at the point where an NPC sells AP resets, then having them trade-able becomes USELESS. What would be the point from going through the trouble of 1) finding someone to buy it from; and 2) arranging a rendezvous to facilitate the transaction, when the very same ordeal can be done through a NPC selling the same item?

Furthermore, the price for the AP reset becomes affixed, because if an NPC sells the item, then it attaches an inherent value to it. This produces many implications. For instance, if they are sold for 20 million each by the NPC, as icannotbe suggested, then the maximum value the AP reset can attain is 20million. To the player who wants to sell them, they can never sell higher than 20million. But at that point, who would want to buy them for 20 million from a player, when it can be bought for the same price through the NPC? Therefore, the player would be forced (okay, let's say "heavily incentivized") to sell the AP reset at a lower price than the NPC. Then economical competition kicks in, people sell for lower prices, and as basic economics tells us: as supply goes up, demand goes down, and eventually AP resets become inherently worthless.

Basically, the implication above would be that by having BOTH options exist, each option would eventually, effectively eliminate the need for the other option.

This is just my small input on the matter.
    Thanks for reading.

I misclicked 15m (stupid faulty touchpad), so do -1 on 15m votes.

In my opinion they should be tradeable only, not available from a NPC.

Ap resets rarer by a bit, tradable and sold for 20m a piece from a NPC.
This high price will also probably create a cheaper black market for ap resets by the community, undercutting 20m.

You may then ask why have a NPC selling ap resets for 20m? This is for desperate people that can't find sellers. This 20m also goes back into the game battling inflation. (Just my opinion)

I think that a set cost for AP resets from a trader or NPC would be too overpowered for billionaires, while for others, being unsuitable and too expensive for hobos.

My proposal is that AP resets should be as they are now, dropped by every monster, and being untradable. However, the sheer amount of them that one might use throughout their character progression might suggest that the drop rate for these tickets would be increased for players to use effectively.

That's the point of making it obtainable from monster drops and a NPC, you have the choice to spend 20b or not spend 20b. Like i said, there would be a black-market. The NPC would only be for the needy and to tackle inflation.

+ you can't double wash in this server, nor is hp washing A NEED.

The economy is full of too much mesos, without a way of injecting it back into the game = inflation, that's why a npc for ap resets would be a good idea.

People seem to forget that HP washing in a GMS like environment has to be a rarity. After all, on GMS it would have cost an actual fortune of actual money. I think a higher set price would be great. Not only will it help a bit with the inflation problem (which EXCISTS! I got over a bil without even TRYING to make mesos), it also helps with the true GMS-feel, where a perfect character can only be obtained by funding from multiple sources and isn't the standard at all.
