Every time I enter APQ, the first run is always okey, into the secound run around halfway through it I can hear that my PC is starting make sound ( fan ), when i check CPU and RAM usage, it's ~70-80% and 5GB. After awhile the game will just freeze and there is nothing I can do, i have two options : Let the game crash by itself (not responding ) Task Manager and kill it. Everything else on my PC works fine. ( I.E nothing else freeze, any open program is still running as it should no stutter or anything) I have no other problem in any other places or boss runs. I tried repatch the game if that would help, still same problem. One solution that may sometimes help: Close the client and wait a bit and the reopen the client Sort of a hit or miss here. One time the usage will just crank up immediate and other time not. Thanks in advance!
Even though it's annoying, I guess reclienting after every run could be a short term soloution for you.
We're not aware of anyone facing this issue, so it could be an isolated incident. Try to run MapleRoyals without any other programs running in the background.
Tried running with nothing at all except the essentials. Still facing same problem. The temp. solution is not always working, that's why i would like to have a secound "eye" on the issue.
I could run a diagnostic and see if I have defective RAMs, that may cause the mayhem. Will run all sort of troubleshoot. Wasn't sure if there was an game problem or PC in the beginning, since the game didn't misbehave before, only in APQ(Weird).
APQ is frequently conducted by many players everyday. If there's issues specifically from it, I believe we'd have received multiple reports on it. But we won't rule out the possibility of there being an actual issue, but it'd still be good if you can diagnose your system.
Yes i can diagnose my system, just didn't start off by diving so deep. And see if there has been any issue similar before. Will report back with result of diagnose tomorrow.
There was no missing/defective files on my PC or RAM error(s). However I may have found a solution; by creating an extra 8GB swap partition. So my conclusion could be an allocation problem, since the usage was still high when I did APQ, but didnt D/C me.
Is it possible that someone have an more efficient solution for this kind of problem? Atm it works without crashes but this kind of solution ain't perfect ... So if someone know a better solution would love to hear it
