Hi, I didn't know wheres that belongs to, but wanted to check if things works right in here. There was a guy, DK, came to my cc and started to kill who I killed. then I asked him to cc, then he came with another account, defame me and ran away. Is it legal here? If so please let me know.
Where is the proof you are the mapowner tho? We can't decide if he ks'd you or didn't based on just you asking "why you ks me".. it's not allowed to interrupt a player's grind or leech or any type of mob hunting in a map if that said player is the mapowner, so no, you can't ks.
there isn't a right or wrong defame. a defame is an action made by a player that decides that whatever u did deserves a defame. or its just a random defame. for example - i got defamed after being nice to a player. was it deserved? no. did he think i deserve a defame? maybe. as long as it's not a mass defame (3+ defames by the same player to a specific player or convincing others to defame him for whatever reason), it's ok. to prove mapowner - whenever u are attacking in a map or if there is someone else in the map, just type ~mapowner and then u can see who owns the map. if no one owns the map, you will see this message: then it means its free for all until someone attacks the monsters.
Proving map ownership is easy, just type ~mapowner like what Geto mentioned. In actual practice, proving ownership AND trying to hold them accountable for KS or map-looting (what you are trying to do here) is somewhat hard. Simply because the burden of providing evidence of the act is solely on you, and you must provide indisputable evidence to support your claim. If you are doing Screen shots only (must be full game client screen shots, no cropping), it is recommended to include things like ~mapowner to showcase the map ownership, ~servertime to showcase your conversation dialog time asking them to leave to match in game time display on your game , your attempts on asking them to leave map, actual screen capture of the toon KSing, and actual screen capture of the toon map-looting etc. As such, in real practice the best way to do so is to take a video (but really who actively records while playing unless you streaming) An extreme example , suppose you were in Mushroom Shrine trying to hunt for Bluemush mom for Olaf (making it up based on your Screenshot background), you were there killing mobs and have ~mapowner. A high level player comes in and checks out the map, at the same time Blue mush mom spawns and he kills it within 5-10 seconds despite you having ~mapowner. In that 10s , you need to collect everything above and maybe more in hopes that you can make a report. My personal experience is that ~mapowner is only taken seriously by those who respect and adhere to the game rules. If an asshole can 1 shot or kill an area boss within lets say 5s, honestly he might be able to KS them all cuz again, its on you to provide the evidence within that timeframe to present to the court. But at the end of the day, it's just a game so most people just move on.
Map ownership is automated and can be checked by the command sent above After 3 minutes of not hitting anything you gonna lose ownership. You are not allowed to attack or loot anything unless you are the owner or got permission from the owner
