Are player-run "events" that don't payout a scam?

    For example, someone uses a super-megaphone to say "I will give the first person to do X, certain amount of mesos." That could range from going somewhere difficult (Jump Quest), to answering a question through whisper.

    Then, when many people gather, or respond, they say "it was a joke". Is that a scam or disruptive behavior? Especially when many players stopped what they were doing to earn some money?

    It is indeed a lie, then we would need to classify whether does such lies fall under Disruptive Behavior

    Example of lies in megaphone leading to ban - "broadcasting a smega to trick people into entering a broken channel"

    I dont think that its the "scammer" responsibility.

    Smegas like these should be taken with a grain of salt from the beginning.. Just dont be naive its that simple..
