Hello! I want to ask if SE applies on the first 3 strikes of assassinate. Usually, on the shadower's client, the critical lines aren't showed but other characters will be able to see the critical lines, so I was wondering if or not, SE works on asssassinate
SE does not increase damage of the first 3-hits of Assassinate, I think it might be a visual bug that other people see it crit. It used to crit before Update #59 but I think it got changed since it would be too OP with the buffed base damage.
No reason to not to fix a bug and no reason to call it OP with NLs, but that would be a discussion for next time. Thanks!
^ Assassinate only crits on the 4th hit after the Shadower stops casting skills and is teleported across its target
I remember seeing the lines with crit (not the 4th hit) being more than possible with the max range. Unless the numbers on the line did not equate to the actual damage being dealt...
That's quite interesting, do you happen to have any video or something of this happening? If you look at the highest damaging Shadower's video footage This doesn't seem to happen. It sometimes displays a "Crit" (purple line) when looking at the damage from another player but it deals the same damage as a non-crit line from the Shadower perspective. The Shadower himself will not see the purple lines What it looks like from the Shadowers perspective: You can see the Boomerang Step purple lines but not Assassinate purple lines Unless you're talking about a very specific case of HT Wings where the damage gets boosted.
so I did one run and @JackHarrie seem to be right? Looks like I was scammed by looking from other char perspective Shad perspective: other char perspective: somehow the second line was changed too lol? Shad perspective total dmg: 211,118 Other perspective total dmg: 219,589
Haha we're definitely getting bamboozled by the game. Why does the second line (non-crit on both screens) change as well?? That's something I've not noticed before Now we need to do some extensive testing on some mob with a very precise amount of HP and see the damage difference on each client to find out which client speaks the truth! For example: Mob has 300k HP Shadower client shows 302k damage, mob dies Other client shows 298k damage, mob still dies Shadower client shows the damage accurately and other client is scam!
So I just wanted to try this experiment as I got curious and it turns out the damage shown on the Shadower's client is actually wrong... which is pretty gamebreaking if you ask me. (you'd expect it to be the other way around) So the damage that is dealt by your own character is displayed wrong. You'll only be able to see the accurate damage if you look at it from another client.. As you can see in the gif on my Shadower's client I deal a total of 36709 44165 39383 = 120.257 damage on my Bowmaster's client I deal a total of 36709 28931 32113 = 97.753 damage Blockmonster has 102.000 HP so it should've died according to my Shadower's client... instead it survives (ignore the 5643 damage, that's venom that doesn't influence the expirement) Spoiler: Frame by frame analysis 1st hit 36.709 damage on both clients 2nd hit 44.165 on shad 28.931 on bm 3rd hit 39.383 on shad 32.113 on bm blockmonster survives the 120k+ damage from my shadowers client blockmonster has 102k HP Fix bug ples
i have noticed it too in krexel from my BM prespective i did less dmg than on my shad client... whats going with it ?
