I temporarily disabled AVG for five minutes and successfully launched the game, made a character and got to play before it re-enabled itself. I've added both the folder of MapleRoyals and the Maple.exe to the exception list but still it continues to detect it as a trojan. Any fixes for this?
You will probably have to look into contacting AVG or searching online for a guide. The maple.exe doesn't contain any viruses and is only noticed as a "false positive"
I seem to have fixed it. I've only launched it just now and logged in but Maple.exe hasn't gotten deleted and it hasn't crashed yet so. I changed the exception for Maple.exe file from any content to any location.
If u open avg and go to: Options > advanced settings > exceptions, u should be able to select both the entire mapleroyals map and loose files to add as an exception to the antivirus/firewall. Hope this helps (this is for every person using AVG and coming across this problem)
