Hello everyone, I’ve decided to try maple story again after 17 years since my account got hacked back then. I was lvl 66, before the fourth job was introduced or the pirate job. I remember Tiger was around lvl 110 back then lol. So I tried playing the normal maple story but didn’t suit me at all hence I’m here, and I love it! Spending 5-6 hours daily and kinda addicted lol. I have couple questions that might seem nubie but I’m struggling to know the answers to so if you could assist. Q1: how can I open a store and sell stuff without the need of me being there, while I can do my own things I’d like to have my store open. Q2: what’s the level to each PQ? Ideal level I mean where I can get good exp and items. Q3: is there a list of each monster, their level and the items they drop? I came across search engine where I type the item or the monster name and I get some details, but doesn’t show enough info. Q4: latest price list? Also came across few but they’re unclear and not user friendly. Q5: is there a ladder board? Something like the old times where we can see who’s the top on each job. Q5: is there a plan to go bigger with maple royal? Expand, get more people, accept donations to make the server better and bigger? Q6: since we’re at it, currently lvl 53 and looking for VIP Zakum helmet if anyone has lol I’ll appreciate your replies and might ask future questions in this topic.
1: Vote daily for NX and in the Cash Shop you can buy stands that you don't need to be logged in to keep up 2: PQs are kinda dead unless you already have a group but KPQ is 21+ stop at 30 CPQ is 30-50 but it's super dead unless you buy service after that i recommend buying leech 3: MapleRoyals - v62 MapleStory Private Server 4: Sylafia's Royals Price Guide - Google Sheets 5: this one i'm not sure 5 v2: the server is always growing and incentivizes daily voting to make it even more popular. and they do accept donations in return for Donor Points which is a special NX (donor disclosure) 6: just smega in game. going rate is 50m so if u say 60m you'll usually get a quick seller
If you ever want to do PQs to level, which I recommend because they give great XP early on, you'll most likely have to use a Super Megaphone to look for a party (you can buy SMegas at the FM merchant for 2m meso each). The PQ for your level would be Orbis PQ. You can find a guide on the forums or by googling 'MapleRoyals OPQ Guide'.
PQing can be good for XP but it can be rough finding a party sometimes, which is why i recommend saving your nx to gacha at mushroom shrine or NLC for funding to buy leech also something I forgot to mention is depending on your job you may need to look into HP washing which is expensive af
Appreciate your replies! What is this HP washing? Is it a must? I read about it how you reset then get them to HP, but I can’t just not do that and continue at high lvl? Because I’m pretty sure there is alternative options through quests to do HP washing.
It depends on how much time you're willing to invest in your character. You can reach maximum HP through repeating the HP quest every day but it would take you a long time. My first character on the server was an archer and I didn't know about washing while I was leveling him up. Today, I still have that same character as my main and I have never HP washed him. I sit at a comfortable 12.5k hp with my various HP equips (like a Blackfist Cloak, a Dojo Belt, the Master Collector medal, etc.) at level 184. I don't really do the HP quest all that often, I've done it maybe 50 times total. If you want to do bosses like Shao at an earlier level than me, you'd probably have to wash at least a little. If you want to take your time and play the game at your own pace while not having to farm billions of meso for washing, don't do it. Ultimately it's up to you. P.S. You can technically Shao without HP washing early as well, you just need to find a DK buddy to go with you so they can give you HB
