Since axes got some changes to be more playable i think other weapons could change as well just to be an alternative way to play without impacting the meta. Here are my suggetions: 1-Make 2H sword Heavens gate faster with lower base att than 2H sword blue screamer ( Both are lv 80 and have the same att). 2- Rise by alot the att of both 2H sword berzerker( lv90) and beheader (lv100), these 2 sword are the slowest thing you can wear so i think it whould be fun if we could choose to hit really slow but with big damage. 3-Give normal speed for seal cushion 2h BW( Since there are fast 2H axe now). 4-Give fast speed to Dark crow (lv 90 crossbow). ( Since bows have Blue metus as fast i guess that whould be fair). What are other weapons with "no use"you think that could be changed to be playable or just balanced?
The niche of axes is that they can hit larger numbers at the loss of speed and consistancy. If you buff 2 handed swords to do the same thing, what is the point of axes? The reason axes got changes was because they were outright worse than swords. Buffing swords just sets us back to square one.
I am not saying to buff all swords, just Berzerker and Beheader.Like i said there is a lv 90 fast 2h axe now so why not? Axes still have a higher multiple and the swords i said are slow( 8) the slowest thing you can atack in this game while axes are slow( 7) or normal speed (6), so why not make it a fun weapon at least, even with SI it wont have good dps.
I personally think the weapons that you can craft from Fiona in Phantom Forest, has a lot of room for improvements. Considering the tedious nature of collecting the items, long chain of quests and the difficulty to farm them efficiently. Hence, I think is fair to call for adjustments to be made for these weapons, in order to make them more viable and appealing to players. The benefits I see is, it allows for more weapons variety being added to the server without needing additional new content. Furthermore, this pathway can also push for greater playstyle diversity, as the NPC is capable of crafting weapons for more niche classes or builds. Like polearm for Dark Knights, 1 handed swords for Heroes/Paladin, staff for Magicians and more weapons for the Crossbowman class. Lastly, I think these weapons could be used as another opportunity for players to gain additional HP. This could be helpful to bring more leverage to more unpopular classes and range classes who seek additional ways to gain HP while playing. like for the crossbowman, we should consider adding HP stats for crafted crossbows, in order to encourage more players to play them as an alternate to the common Bowmasters pathway.
There were multiple suggestions in the past to add Godly stats to CWKPQ crafted weapons. Maybe it's time to revisit the topic?
Nononono! Please don't make me scroll a new 145 dagger just for the good looks of the weapon!! Sounds like a good idea! What highest stats should, for example the highest upgraded Claw or Bow have, in your opinion?
I agree. I don't think it would be broken either. For example, perfect Night Raven's Wing would still always be 5 attack lower than perfect stonetooth, giving a tradeoff for a lower dex requirement.
Its not a waste of time, it is about making use of what we alredy have without needing to make big changes. Change the base att of a weapon wont take alot o effort to code ( i guess )
Make maroon mop faster (2) att speed But for real, there are a few weapons I'd love to see at least buffed in attack speed, such as a few of the pole arms. They mostly get put at slow(8) when they could fit much better with slow(7) or normal(6), considering there is the purple surfboard with fast(5). If the Eviscerator got a small damage boost and attack speed boost, I'd say it would be worth using. It just seems kinda wrong that a level 120 pole arm has slower attack speed AND 5 less attack on average than the level 110 Dragon Hellslayer. I like Ilyssia's ideas with adding a bit of extra HP to certain weapons to help counteract the need for hp washing in those ranged classes. Also, weapons crafted at places like phantom forest and NLC (excluding any attack gear like fs or scg) should gain some sort of variable stats upon creation. That might entice players to go for some of them. I love a lot of the weapon designs and quite a few of those crimsonwood weapons would be nice for any class that wants them, but the static stats make them just worse than any of their equal level counterparts, so you never see anyone have them, maybe except the stormshear.
