It was kind of my first time doing the winderdash event and I honestly didn't know there was a problem with bringing 2 characters in at the same time. I asked in the lobby if it was fine and people said you can do it. I didn't even finish with both characters, was just trying to min max. I realize my mistake and if there's anyway you could ease the punishment it would mean the world.
Hi tiramisoup, You are correct; you were banned for 14-days for your first act of Glitch Abuse, for bringing in more than one of your characters to the same Winter Dash Event. Unfortunately, your ban will not be reduced, as your infraction is clear. While we can understand your argument of not knowing you couldn't multi-client, we cannot accept that as an excuse anymore, because we have been letting the players know for weeks that multi-clienting was not allowed before bans began to be issued instead of warnings. It is unfortunate that this was your first event and you missed those early warnings. However, the event NPC has the warning about multi-clienting in red text when you click them to enter, so we cannot show leniency at this point. I'm sorry, but your ban duration will remain 14-days.
I appreciate your response, but I couldn't help but notice how this is a reccuring theme with other players not having any intentions of getting an unfair advantage in the winter dash event. Honestly, as I said before I had no idea what this event was before I went in with both of my charactes, and as I am not really one that reads npc interactions I didn't think much of it. Anyway, I would really appreciate if you could understand that there are many players who love the game and had no ill intentions. In fact, I didn't even gain anything from entering with multiple characters, as I only finished with one. This really sucks to see happening to many people other than me and I hope you can see that most cases are truly ones of people doing an honest mistake with 0 intent to get an unfair advantage. At the end of the day, the whole situation is a bit ridiculous and overblown by the team if you ask me.
