IGN: Felix Last thing you did: Clicked Spieglemann in the CPQ reward stage Why do you think you got banned?: When you normally click Spieglemann after a CPQ, he'll tell you your rank, give you your exp and warp you out. However, me and 5 others got a glitch where he would tell us the rank, give us exp (120k), but didn't warp us out. This process could have been repeated for infinite exp. I think I only clicked him 2 or 3 times in an effort to get out, before I got disconnected from the server and issued a ban notice. I assume this was due to some auto-ban being triggered as the other players (some level 30ish) instantly leveled a few times from the massive about of exp. What GM banned you?: Unknown / not applicable
You know you were abusing a glitch by saying free xps on the map. Someone else ran into that problem and they contacted me via ~gm so I don't understand why you wouldn't either. Since you were clearly advertising the glitch, you have been permanently banned.
I only stated the fact that there was free xp, and I was in the middle of typing a "get out" message to everyone when we were disconnected. It was the first time I've had the glitch occur
What was the purpose of stating free xp? You knew it would only encourage others to double click Spiegel and exploit the glitch more. When I got to the map, the Level UP animation was appearing over peoples' heads so much and so fast I thought my client was glitching out for a moment.
Someone pointed out to me that under rule 19 (which I believe I've been banned under) I should only get a 3 day ban for the first offence, unless I've been banned under another rule. Rule 19: "Exploit errors in design, features which are not documented and/or bugs to gain access that would otherwise not be available or to obtain any competitive advantage (Always contact a game master if you are unsure); Punishment: 1st offence - 3 day ban, 2nd offence - 7 day ban, 3rd offence - permanent ban"
Our T&C have been updated but since they weren't posted upon the time of this incident, I refer you to this clause:
