Character Name: nccuGD Last thing you did: in GS2, leeching people Why do you think you got banned?: I used the exp distribution to leech others Ban message when attempting to log in: permanent banned What GM banned you (optional): Sila I noticed the exp distribution would be the same to my teammates if we are all 5 lvls below the mob lvl, and at first I didn't know if it's an original training way in GMS because I've never trained with friends to a monster that's 5 lvls above us. I thought it's a good mechanism that brings everyone together and we train and chat together. After a few times, I thought it's good if I can sell leech for it. I didn't know if it's a glitch but something I found out that's good for everyone and good for mapling because it brings everyone together.
By selling "non conventional" leech, you make it pretty clear that you're aware it's not meant to be like that. And yet you decided to take advantage of it and not only use it intentionally, but sell it to other people clear as day. Glitch Abuse - The act of exploiting any errors in game design or any features or bugs, documented or otherwise, that are not meant to be available in order to gain any sort of competitive advantage. Punishment: First offense - 14 day ban, Second offense- Permanent ban It should be fairly obvious that EXP distribution should be different, and that everyone should not be getting the same full exp from mobs as if you were the one attacking it. You will be unbanned in 14 days. Next time if you aren't sure it's a glitch or intended, the safe thing to do is to ask a staff member. Bring it to our attention, whisper us in game or send us a forum PM.
I understand it now, and I would happily accept this punishment for my unthoughtful behavior that caused negative impact to this community.
