    Last thing you did:
Voting on my account, my 2 alt accounts (I have 14 characters total, wanting to play and experience all jobs. I have a priest on a separate account for HS) and my sister's account (who is inactive for some time and I thought to be nice to her).

Why do you think you got banned?:
Rule 25: Voting more than once a day for each voting site.
This rule was introduced 3 weeks ago apparently (?).
It wasn't there when I first joined and read all the rules before I started playing.

    What GM banned you (optional):
    I neither know nor care.

    Parting words:
I've always abided by the rules. I started playing december last year I think. At that time, the rules never stated this was illegal. Apparently 3 weeks ago the rules changed, but I wasn't informed of this. You cannot expect people to be proactive and read the rule page everyday. At least make a notice about it on the homepage or warn players of their first time offense.

I also believe that a 7 day ban is just ridiculous, especially considering the above. I did not have the intention to forcefully break the server's economy. I did not make accounts for the sake of voting, as described above and I know now that it is completely illegal, no exceptions. Yet I got banned for 7 days without so much as a warning beforehand. Simply sending me a warning telling me what I'm doing is illegal would have been enough to make me stop.

Whether you unban me or let me sit out my 7 day sentence, please consider notifying the community properly next time you change the rules. Also, try to show more empathy into someone's situation before just mercilessly swinging your banhammer around.

    Best of regards,
    Yoshimitsu

When you read the T&C, you must know you also agreed to any change made in the T&C.

Your argument here is false, since the facts you base them on are invalid:

We did notify the community; this was posted along with the new rule.

I'm afraid we are unable to lift your ban. You will be able to come back in 7 days. See you then.

It's a shame, really, that the admins here treat people in a binary fashion.
You are either good or bad, and there is only one punishment for the bad.

Imagine the real world being like this: Killing a person would have a first time punishment of 10 years, second time punishment of a life sentence. If you shove someone because of an argument and they land on their head and die as a result, you killed someone and thus get 10 years. This puts you on the same level as someone who purposefully kills someone and who would also get 10 years.

I hope you understand the point I'm trying to make, but seeing the previous reaction, I'm not expecting too much out of it.

This is not a plea to get me unbanned, just an attempt to make you see the world in shades of gray rather than black and white.
