    Firstly, I'm writing this for my sister who doesn't speak English. We live in The Netherlands and we're Vietnamese from origin. Her previous ban appeal got denied, rightfully so after me rereading the thread. I am convinced that the context is important around this ban, and with this thread I will try to explain the situation as openly as I can.

    Previous ban appeal: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-appeal.246515/#post-1547050
    This previous ban appeal is written by NGenn, helping her out in English.

    Me myself, I'm not really a player on this server. I have had my own account and character in which I did play a little back when me and my sister lived in the same house. Mostly for me helping her out with understanding the basics of how to play the game, and of course having a bit of fun playing it myself. At some point we got her character to a point where the game is mostly straightforward to play, and she really enjoyed the gameplay of just farming, leveling, and obtaining mesos. Bossing was completely skipped, since she didn't know how to take part of that side of the game. At some point she met Vietnamese people on the server, which she connected with and was able to be social with. Before this, all she did was playing on her own, not knowing how to talk to people as she didn't speak English. This is also where she met "NGenn", who is from Vietnam, knows how to speak English, and helped her a lot with the game, usually through TeamViewer. Showing her how to take part of bossing, showing her how to make her character stronger, generally showing her how to play the game.

    She was not planning on breaking the ToS ever, if you look back at her account history, it goes way back and she never broke any rule herself. I have read the ToS earlier and I came across the following appendix:

    10. Account Sharing - This rule was altered in October of 2014 to respond to the growing number of people abusing the ability to share accounts for a variety of purposes that we deemed unacceptable. Eight scenarios for which account sharing will be considered an immediate permanent ban are the following:
    1. Using power-levelling services;
    2. Two or more people taking turns in levelling up a character (i.e. training);
    3. Logging onto someone else's character in order to leech your own;
    4. Removing items from or deleting someone else's character;
    5. Giving an account with a high-levelled character on it to someone else;
    6. Committing a bannable offence (other than just account sharing) on someone else's account;
    7. Wasting Staff time by lying about the account sharing;
    8. Sharing your account details with multiple people.
    In any other situations, the default punishment will be a 30 day ban and potentially a reversal of actions taken during the share, however, this is still subject to Staff discretion and the involved parties may face a permanent ban regardless of their situation not being listed above. Finally, the use of the same account information as other locations such as your personal social medias or any other game servers does not violate this rule, however, any individuals who access your account on the basis of knowledge of account information in other places does. You are responsible for the privacy of your own account information.

    This is where I will have to be clear, open and honest. She hasn't broken any of these rules, however NGenn did. Using her account to break rule 3 and 6. I'm not trying to say she shouldn't be held accountable for sharing her account with NGenn in the first place. However, she did not do that for any malicious reason. She only did it for him to help her out with enhancing her gear, or doing jump quests, since she doesn't know how to do these things. What I'm trying to emphasize is that there was no bad intent in anything she did.

    We can fastforward to I believe a couple of months ago, when NGenn decided to play the game again. Yes, he broke rules, yes he used GNhung's account to leech his own multiple accounts. And I don't even know what else he did, that's outside of my knowledge. However, I want to apologize for him for causing disruptions in your systems, giving more work to the staff, for the sake of my sister who has been sad over her permanent ban on this server. She has bought cosmetics, stayed loyal to the server, and didn't break any rules intentionally on her own. I ask you to apply the 30-day ban for her mistakes and I will make sure that the same mistakes won't ever be made again. NGenn won't have access to this account, and never will anymore. I thank you in advance for reading this long post, no it has not been written by AI, not a part of it. It all comes from me in dire want to resolve this ban for my sister's happiness. Because she really has enjoyed all her time spent on this server, and will keep doing is if she's allowed to.

    Greetings,
    Zhi (Nhung's brother)

    Hi there.

    We understand you are trying to help your sister but players are to submit ban appeals for themselves.

    Account sharing goes both ways due to both players agreeing to the situation and breaking the account sharing rule together.

    I will be closing this thread.

    If your sister wishes to appeal, she should create her own forum account and appeal her situation herself, similarly if you are trying to appeal for yourself, create your own forum account to do so.
