IGN: Haymaker Last thing you did: offline Message: Illegal charging/funding Why you think: Idk Is this for vote abusing? My girlfriend comes over to my place and plays about twice a month or vice versa. Because of this, we have to alternate voting even though she's back at her house, and I am in mine. (I don't mind alternating, but if that can be fixed, it'd be greatly appreciated.) In any case, I never received more NX than I was supposed to. Also, I'll note: In GTOP100, after I do the capcha, it doesn't say "thanks for voting" sometimes. Therefore, I do the capcha like 3-5 more times just in case.
You were banned for NX vote abusing yes. And you do need to alternate, if you view the rules you can see what you are and are not allowed to do.
Thanks, Katsuruka, for the evidence. I don't need to scrutinize a giant chart of numbers. I'm sure it says I've voted more than once or something. However, I don't see how my girlfriend or I was "vote abusing." John, I've seen the terms and conditions. We were just voting for our respective accounts without knowing that anything was wrong. One, we do not live in the same household. Two, she did not vote on multiple accounts, and I did not vote on multiple accounts. Also, there were multiple times when one of us could not vote, and I predicted that it was because of an IP confusion. No big deal. We did not try to bypass this. Furthermore, the rules do not explicitly state that we have to alternate; we do not live in the same household. Either you (John) need to look over Dustin's rules on vote abusing again, or you need to update the terms and conditions and include a policy that explicitly state the consequences of having a guest, who is also a player, in one's household. Seems like there are a handful of people with problems like this that goes beyond vote abusing, according to other ban appeal posts. I do not need an appeal. I will rightfully serve the 7 days. However, I would appreciate it if you would look over your own rules more carefully before telling a player to do so.
We've discussed the possibility of logging additional information to our database to avoid potential confusion from guests who occasionally visit, and will talk to our resident database expert about it to see if it's feasible.
