IGN: threed Last thing you did: was soloing papulatus, so basically just spamming TT and potions Why do you think you were banned?: I have absolutely no idea. Ban message when attempting to log in: "Your account has been temporarily banned for glitch abuse. The ban expires on Sat, 14 Feb 2015 01:11:53 (GMT). Details: TimK temporarily banned threed" What GM banned you (optional): TimK I'm not aware of any abuseable glitches in royals, much less any that I've taken advantage of.
You somehow managed to keep the Papulatos in its spawn position while attacking, it should be moving at all times.
I've killed at least 3-4 papulatus now and I've never seen the first form move once, except when doing a duo with a DK who pushed it into the corner. The second form, of course, flies around incessantly, but I've never seen the first form move... Perhaps testimony from guildmates could help? I've done duos/trios with my guildmates AydeN and Aephus and I don't believe that papulatus first body moved during those runs either. If it's not too much to ask, can you use your GM power to summon a papulatus and see if the first form actually moves around? I really haven't done any hacking, and if papulatus first form not moving is a bug in the game, I don't know how I can kill it ever without being a "glitch abuser." P.S.: Thank you for your quick response and explanation.
We discussed the matter further amongst the staff, and concluded that Pap's first form only gets KB-ed if you do much higher damage. You have been unbanned.
Thank you for investigating the matter further and taking my claims into account. I appreciate the work that you do as a GM banning _actual_ hackers and whatnot. If it's not too much to ask, can I a GM gift me a pap crack? I'm very poor at the moment (5M mesos lol) and this unfair ban during a papulatus run cost me a crack.
If you haven't already, could you make a thread in character issues about it, explaining that you were wrongly banned and posting a link to this thread, please? It's easier to keep track of stuff like refunds if they're posted there. And yea, I don't see any problem with refunding you a piece of crack.
