ALL Your Character Names: ENENx, engravedx, CheezePie, enfinity, enen1, enen2, enen3, enen4, enen5, enen6, enen7, enen8, EnStore, xYours, xMine Last thing you did: ENENx was in the maple tree map when I fell asleep while reading and waiting for the tree to be filled. I'm not sure which other characters were on. Maybe enen2 enen3 and enstore were AFK at FM. When I woke up at around 7am server time, I noticed I'm no longer in the map and have a golden leaf in my etc inventory and went to exchange for a gift. After that was done, I went to vote on ENENx and created new accounts on the website for 2 other accounts (no characters made yet). Subsequently, I tried logging into one of the new accounts to create a new character but received the ban message at log in page. Do note that at this point, I still have accounts logged into game and wouldn't have known I was banned if I did not try to log into another account. I have already logged out of all my accounts at the time of writing. Why do you think you got banned?: I don't think creating new accounts was the reason I got banned since the ban is until 5th June @ 6.11am. Pretty sure I wasn't doing anything at 6.11am earlier on and I haven't been doing anything much the past few days apart from anniversary quests and FM. The ONLY reason I can think of is when few days ago, I was farming heartstoppers at one of the spsycho jack maps while reading a book (I was infront of my computer the entire time, not afking). I was in the map for probably 2 or 3 hours when someone suddenly came into my map (not from the door) and started hitting the mobs. He immediately claimed that the map was his and he has been there the entire time - but that's not true as I did not disconnect or change channels the entire time I was there. However, mapowner showed that it belongs to him for I can't remember how long, maybe 15 or 30seconds, simply because he used a skill when he entered the map and I was only using my little dragon (unaware that the dragon does not detect as an attack from myself). For sure I got pissed and felt extreme unjust as why is he stealing my map and claiming all the untruths about him being there first and asking me to leave? There were plenty of other available channels so why does he have to fight me for mine? I refused to change channels and he threatened to report me. I asked in guild alliance whether it was illegal to stay if he has mapowner, and they told me yes. So I went and read up on forum threads, and also reread the terms & conditions clause (not sure if your forums are able to check that I did access it during the time). After figuring out it was a hopeless and unfair case against me, I went back to game, asked him if he has reported, dropped him 2 heartstoppers (I believe I only took 2 heartstoppers from the time he claimed map ownership but I can't be sure, I wasn't counting) and changed channels. He claimed he was in the map before me but disconnected - although it seems to me either he reconnected to the wrong channel or it was all intentional to get some random person banned using mapowner. The whole situation happened in the span of maybe 5 to 10 minutes. I have no screenshots or recording of it as it was my first time experiencing such a ridiculous situation. Ban message when attempting to log in: Your account has been blocked for using illegal programs or violating the game policy. You can login after Jun/ 5/2024 6:11am Additional information: I am using a private network in my own home. No one in my house plays RoyalsMS and I have only ever logged into my accounts on my computer. No one else has my log in details too. I have only ever voted on my main account, with the exception of 1 day when I voted on another account and I made sure to skip voting on the main one. What GM banned you (optional): - Appeal: If my ban is due to the mapowner issue, I'll just helplessly take it and blame it on my own ignorance and forgetting the clause of mapowner, and definitely the other player with malicious intent. Although I would definitely like to appeal to lift the ban as the whole situation was extremely unfair and I did try to rectify the issue promptly. However, if it was due to some other issues, kindly enlighten me so that I will not make the same mistake again. Thank you for your kind attention.
Hello. Your ban was indeed for the mapowner situation (objectional behavior - 1st offense). Your ban will expire in 2 days and 9 hours. In the future please ensure you abide by what the ~mapowner command displays. I know every situation may not be ideal, but those are the rules that we have in place.
Thank you for looking into the situation and getting back to me. However, seeing that my ban appeal is not successful is ultimately a disappointment as cases aren't considered on a situational basis as well as the prompt action to rectify the issue did not matter. But sure, game rules. The ones with malicious intents are just going to abuse it to make the game unpleasant for others. *shrugs*
Without proof from your end there is really nothing we can do. We reviewed the evidence submitted from the other party and it was enough to warrant an Objectional Behavior ban. When farming stoppers, you have to ensure you attack to maintain mapowner or else it is perfectly fine for someone to come in and take ownership of the map. Whether you agree with our decision or not, those our the rules and we follow them when making these decisions.
