When I did LMPQ for the first time yesterday the notification bar informing the server of a mystic portal bug ended up blocking the top portion of the mini map which told me which room i was in, this couples with the fact that the pq was not explained very well on my first time led me to simply spam the middle portal to reach room 16. because i was talking about an extra 20 sec per run to get to room 16 the party leader kicked me which led to my frustration and in result verbally attacking my former party leader. the one other instance I believe led to my punishment was when in the process of LPQ a party member stated he was from isreal, this led to me idiotically starting a political conversation about my distaste for the state of isreal, something the while is protected under free speech, should still not be talked about in a video game when at the end of the day we are all just trying to enjoy ourselfs. I believe that while I do not hate any person simply for being of the jewish faith, I could see how my statements might come off as offensive and lead him/her to misconstrue me as an anti semite . The reason I wanted to go in depth about the 2 incidents were because you can not put all this context about what really happened into a simple ban report to my knowledge. the reason the last few days i have been treating my peers so terribly (and I am aware I have no way of proving this through means I am comfortable with, so I hope you will give me the benefit of the doubt), while not justified is the recent death of my uncle. This is the first death in my family I have had the misfortune of experiencing so I have not been handling very well. Rather then just being alone in my room and morn, I have been continuing to play video games to try and distract myself from the situation. I realize now upon reassessment of my actions that my anger and frustration affected how I treated others in a very immature fashion and will take this as a learning experience to not use video games (or at least multi-player ones) to vent my anger is it does not help anyone. Now I am sure you have guessed by now as you have probably already read thousands of ban appeals that the ultimate point of this long wall of text is to get unbanned, and while I do not deny this, I would like to express how genuinely sorry I am to you the GM for creating a toxic environment in the amazing server you help run and to Oulr and Pfft ( I believe these are the ign's of the people I offended) for what I said. If I am granted the privilege of playing on maple royals again the first thing I will do is (and this is assuming you have the "find" feature like GMS) to the best of my ability find the people I hurt and personally apologize. I write to you with the utmost sincerity when I tell you I am not a hateful person and hope you will grant me a second chance
You were banned for 3 days. The permanent ban is a visual glitch and you'll be able to play again once your ban has expired.
