That forum post for multivoting was made before i realized account sharing wasn't allowed. We used two of my accounts that i had made when he wanted to start playing. After we realized that was illegal, he made his own account(s) and we used individual accounts.
All of the following stuff happened around Thanksgiving break (around Nov. 20-26; Both my brother Luke and I were home for break) I had both accounts (ikilfapples and stardevotion) going into the break. Luke and I both realized that we would need to eventually restart our characters because we did not realize HP washing was necessary for late game bossing until it was too late. We submitted the whitelist application under both my accounts because we would just use those to vote/make money during the break when we were both home. A little after submitted the application we were informed through the forums/friends who played that account sharing was NOT allowed. After that, Luke just made his own Bishop to be in compliance with the rules (ign: sandycheeks). I don't think any real play was done by luke on Stardevotion before we were informed of our mistake. These events should be in chronological order but we had difficulty finding somewhere that gave us the exact date of character creation. If there is any additional information I can provide to aid in the process please let me know.
Well this seems quite concerning because your 'brother' on the 26th December was still mentioning how you were using his account: I believe this is enough evidence to say it wasn't accidental or a one-off occasion and that a permanent ban will remain for both accounts.
That is some very impressive detective work. The incident above happened after my brother auto re-arranged my inventory while looking through my items, not using it to play. Even in the evidence used against me it is seen that I say "my inventory" twice and that he was "just messing around" It was not the case that we were using it as a shared account. Additionally, he has a character of the same class on his very own account (bishop) that is not only higher level and stronger than the character in question, but would also be in compliance with the rules, so I could see very little reasons for us to share an account in the first place. If even the actions of having him rearrange my inventory go against the account sharing rule then I no further defense that I could bring up. gg
Additionally, all the play on that account is either from my personal desktop or laptop, not the Mac addresses of any of Luke's computers (as he is located half-way across the country). Leaving my chars logged on even when afk is a common habit of mine and I specify that it was done without my knowledge on that day.
