Hello Tim, I believe there was a misunderstanding associated with my friend Henry's (KaoriS2) ban appeal. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/reconsidering-my-ban-apple.116138/ So I read ban appeals on a regular basis (I mean who doesn't, they're interesting), and I was the one who told him to try to appeal again after reading about a case extremely similar to his (as mentioned in his appeal). I don't know how you came to the conclusion that me, Jon (InoriS2/Kutori) and Henry (KaoriS2) are the same person as I'm 110% sure the account information associated with these accounts are totally different from each other. The only time I recall all of us using the same internet connection was when we had a LAN party and LPQ'd together at Jon's house a while back. Anyway, if you check our account information, chatlogs, and whatever else you guys check to distinguish players, I'm sure you'll find that we are different people.
I'm not quite sure what you're asking but at Jon's house we were just all connected to his home internet via wifi. We had several laptops setup, and 1 desktop. Henry (KaoriS2) doesn't have a laptop though, so he sometimes borrows someone's laptop or Jon's desktop.
We don't do that frequently, we only did that for maybe 2 or 3 days I believe. This was back in August or September I think.. it was a while back so I don't remember the exact date.
I want to give some honest feedback. I understand you have a life and that you were busy with the new patch, so I was fine with waiting a couple days, but it's been 5 days since I've been mistakenly banned with only 1 reply every 2 days. I'm not trying to bash you or anything, but you have to see from my point of view this is extremely unfair. GMs always talk about how they don't ban people unless they have concrete evidence, but in this case I was banned even though a quick look at the leads I gave you will prove I'm clearly innocent. I was patient about it because I thought it was a quick and easy task for a GM to distinguish players but evidently, this is not the case. Off the top of my head, I can think of 4 things that are different between all of our accounts. Firstly, we have completely different account information, no doubt about it. Secondly, the network we use to play royals is also completely different from each other, aside from the couple times we LPQ'd together at Jon's house (which I already mentioned). Thirdly, you can check our chatlogs with each other and with other royallers as well and realize we are definitely different people. Lastly, we all donated before, so if you check our PayPal/credit card information, you'll also see that we are different people, and that our names match the ones I've provided you. Nowhere will you find evidence that we've been on each other's accounts before, and you can't just assume that we have based on the couple times we used the same network or borrowed each others laptop/desktop. You did not take the time to dig a little deeper before banning me, and I feel like in these types of cases, you should at least put in a little more effort into my ban appeal. When we were conversing in the shoutbox, you even used the word "perhaps" yourself: Today at 12:33 PM - Tim: no im just wondering why all of you may have been PC swapping so much to the extend of perhaps some sharing took place So you do not even have concrete evidence, you're just banning based on assumption. I'm not asking for any compensation up to this point (because I know you guys wouldn't give it anyway), but please unban me for now so I can enjoy the event. can you explain why your accounts are mainly connected from two locations sometimes switching on the same day?
My accounts ConanKun, Jophs and MouriRan? Yes of course. I play from both my own home and my girlfriend's house. Sometimes I bring my laptop over to her house, and sometimes I borrow hers to play. We never play on the same laptop at the same time though, you can check that. There are also times she borrowed my laptop to play or played from my home connection when she comes over. You can confirm this, the secondary connection I use should be connected to Jackiebear, Jellybear, etc. She has other characters, but Jackiebear and Jellybear are her 2 main characters that she plays on.
checked out and unbanned regarding your feedback: As you stated we do have a lot of things to deal with, and in some cases the details can only be checked by Andreas or myself. You're right that we only ban people when we have concrete evidence which in your case was shared connectivity with someone that claims to currently be ban evading and some pattern of logging in from multiple places regularly. People often tell us: you can check this, that and that! you can look into cases more and reveal the truth! but in reality ban appeals are supposed to be for the player to prove their innocence, on which we're happy to assist if they point us directly to what to check to back up their claims. It is a 'help us help you' situation where we simply don't have the time to dig into everyone's complete account history and chatlogs for multiple characters over their past 6 months to look for signs of our initial ban being wrong unless the player points out specific things for us to look for. tl dr for people making ban appeals; don't make us drag the information helping your case out of you, or our logs, try to help us help you.
