I will be completely honest and take full responsibility with what I have done. All I ask is to consider what I am saying with an open mind. I first made a bishop, because I heard it was the correct path if you wanted to fund the actually character you want to play. With working a full time job and going to school, playing on my free time with some of my closest friend's from childhood reminded me of our old childhood days. Which I recently got two of those childhood friends to come onto mapleroyals and rekindle old friendships. I had a goal in mind that yes I took upon myself, since its only a few of us that are playing, we would like to keep bossing between us. With that in mind, I took up the challenge of stopping my low level marauder and make a NL in order to boss. As we all know to properly have a NL that can boss especially without HB is costly and simply impossible. Yes, I made multiple accounts, simply to fund HP washing a NL. I tried to wash SikWiDiT and being new to the server, I realized quickly that I was doing it wrong. I did my research, and in the end it would cost me 20B just to HP wash a NL, not even including the items. With all this being said, you can look into those accounts, and most of the NX is not spent. What I'm saying is I understand that there is usually a warning with a 14 day ban for the first offense, however the amount of NX I acquired is too much. Thus, it lead to the decision of a permanent ban. I do understand that, however most of that was unused. The reason why it was unused was due to saving it to do APR for HP washing my NL. I honestly felt that was the only way to really enjoy the most out of MapleRoyals, because that is the reason why everyone is playing this server. We love the feeling it brings us. What I'm asking for is to reconsider this permanently ban from all my accounts. What I suggest is to think of a compromise. I simply don't want anyone to overlook what I did and give me a slap on a wrist. I would like you to consider two options I thought could be a compromise. Ban all my characters that I was using, (taking away the NX that was accumulated and not used) and leaving my bishop(iNeeko) and marauder (illsick) and sin (SikWiDiT) and leave me with a warning and watch my account to see if I ever vote abuse again. Thus limiting me to for sure following the 1 vote per day. Or another option, completely take away my access from voting all together, take away those accounts that did have NX, leave me with my bishop and marauder account which I won't have access to use NX anymore, and if I did want NX items, I would continue to donate for RP which I did, and already set up the look of my character. In the end, I just want to play with those friends and boss with them and experience that nostalgic childhood feeling we all yearn for. Thank you for your time and consideration. Unfortunately, the vote abuse rules are clearly outlined. The reasoning for breaking the rules does not matter, and altruistically forfeiting the extra NX gained won't change that they were broken.
I understand that forfeiting the extra NX gained won't change that I broke the rules. However, I did not use that NX that was gained yet. This should count as something. I do understand that the rules state :Vote Abuse: Punishment: First offense - 14 day ban, Second offense - Permanent ban. Please be aware that, in cases of severe abuse as per discretion of staff, we reserve the right to respond with a permanent ban regardless of if it is your first offense. However, I did not receive an email, or warning of first offense. However, the NX was not used yet, which didn't give me advantage over other players. With all these situations combined of no warning and the amount of NX that was not used, I would appreciate if it can be reconsidered. I've seen in a different post that the NX was removed from that person's account. Perhaps this can be done for me. If not please consider letting me be able to create a new account and start over. All I want to be able to do is play with my friends. Even if that means all these accounts are deleted, I would love to be able to create a new account start over if that is possible. I truly learned my lesson and it would not happen again. Please reconsider the punishment.
The NX was removed from a person's account on a different appeal because they only double voted twice, accidentally. Having gained the NX but not used it doesn't change the fact the rules were broken and you abused the voting system. Would you plea with a judge that, even though you robbed a bank and stole millions of dollars, because you didn't spend any you aren't guilty of a crime? The permanent ban will remain in place.
