Why do you think you got banned?: I believe my IP-adress has been blocked from connection as a friend of mine who's visiting got 7 day temp-banned for robotic play earlier this evening. (Baditude, inteliigence, notapriest and solidox). Those characters/accounts are normally connected from another IP in another town where he lives. Also not long ago connected from Norway, as he lived there until December 2018. Ban message when attempting to log in: This ID has been banned or blocked from connection. What GM banned you (optional): Hempa or something simillar temp-banned Baditude around 17:25 CET at wraiths. As I played on the same IP, you might've thought those accounts where his aswell. Exactly. We are in my apartment over the weekend playing maple. He got temp-banned on his account for 7-days and now I can't login.
It is unfortunate, but because he was banned for actions taken while using your connection, that will impact your ability to connect to the game until that ban is over. If we remove the IP ban, your friend would be able to make another account and bypass their ban, which we don't allow.
Appreciate your understanding. If you have another way to connect to the internet (like a hotspot) you can still play the game just fine. The ban will automatically expire when it reaches the end of it's duration then you can use your regular IP to connect again.
