I understand that there's an aim of removing hackers and hacked items which is great. I totally support this. However, it's difficult as a buyer to know the source of items being sold to you. I take issue with being blocked from the game *before* investigation. It promotes an assumption of guilt before allowing to prove innocence.
Mainly Chinwag as that's my mule for merching. Probably piod as well if I saw them being sold at a cheap price
I've read other bam appeals and seems like best way to speed up appeal is to provide more info: - Funding obtained through voting most days - Bought gold zteeth to merch, bought for around 0.8-1mil, selling for 1.2mil ish, ftom stores, FM - No other chars other than those mentioned - One seller was yumiattached or something? Cannot remember others I've merched gold zteeth before that when they were around 2-3mil too, similar methods
It was a tactic to try and make a sale. I'd been trying to sell them in my shop for a small profit and when the buyer was going going back and forth I just wanted to close the deal. Didn't want to tell them I was merching as it would scare them off
I don't remember doing so if I'm honest. Do you have the numbers? I remember buying lots for around 800k-1mil and trying to sell them for 1.1-1.3mil If I did then I'm bad at merching
I sense this is about the laundering of hacked gold zteeth, from reading other ban appeals. I did not know if the teeth I bought were hacked or not. I still wouldn't know. I don't merch gold zteeth any more recently as they're not v liquid or profitable. I've moved onto event scrolls and chairs for now as you can probably see in my logs
I've unbanned you as I can see you bought the teeth however it was very suspicious that you sold some cheaper than you bought them for, and that you say im-game that you farmed them yourself. I hope you can agree that a suspicious activity ban was in place there
Understood, fair enough. Selling cheaper may have been to quickly get funds to buy another item. Seems odd to me that losing money would be suspicious. Anyway thanks Tim!
