With some googling I found that Skadivote was an IGN banned a while back (http://royals.ms/forum/threads/banned.11073/)... what does this have to do with my character?
Well seeing as your IP matches the SkadiVote accounts and your MAC is associated with all different accounts with different IPs, I'm going to say you've been trying to ban evade, have been mildly successful, and slipped up.
how in the world can my IP match this SkadiVote account? I don't even know who that is!!! And no I always hide my information no matter what I am doing online. Whether it be a game, schoolwork, facebook, browsing, whatever. I have not been trying to "ban evade" because I have never been banned before! I sincerely feel like this is a mistake, please try and look into it a little more. If you need any info from me just ask, don't just ban by assumption Also, why does the ban message say "Dustin has banned Skadivote" when I have no association to this guy? Shouldn't it say which character is banned??
From Terms & Conditions numbered 1 to 31, there is NOTHING that says anything about not using a proxy or vpn. I am using it for my own safety, not because I am trying to evade a ban or anything, because I have never been banned. By the way, how did this go from me being banned from having the same IP as an unassociated player, to being banned for a different reason? Where is the justification that I have been banned for being related to this "Skadivote" person? Also, I am still wondering why my error message tells me "Dustin has banned Skadivote", and not MY OWN character?
Because Skadivote used the same proxy apparently. So unless you stop using the proxy, your account will remain associated with his and you won't be able to play.
Come on guys, this is an issue of personal security, it has nothing to do with going against your terms and conditions
fine I'll stop using a proxy then. But is there a reason the use of proxies is not in your terms and conditions if it's that big of a deal?
It's quite simple. If you want to avoid being banned, play with an IP no one else uses so only you are responsible for what happens on it. If you play on another IP that others may use, you'll have to deal with the consequences of being associated with that IP. Account unbanned.
