What GM banned you (optional): Petey Essentially, when I train at GS2, I place my army knife on my space bar (where my Arrow Rain is bound) and watch. The game has that built in system where I stop attacking/using the skill after 30 attacks or something? When that happens, I simply pick up my army knife, move around a little bit manually, and put the army knife back down. I do the same thing when my buffs run out. Unlucky me went to go get some water right when a GM approached me and asked if I was there. I got back right as he asked me a second time. I explained what was happening and why I didn't respond the first time, but he told me that that was considered botting. I don't understand what the difference between just keeping my thumb on the key and watching vs putting something heavy on the key and watching; how one can be considered botting when one isn't. I'm not using some illegal program to get this all done, I'm still normally sitting in front of my screen and manually doing everything. The only difference is that an army knife is on the key, not my thumb. I was just caught at an inopportune time. Could I perhaps have an explanation which those two methods are different? Why one is botting and the other is not and why I still got banned even though I gave a legitimate explanation? Thanks for reading.
You're not allowed to leave something heavy on you attack button either. Your ban will remain. The whole fact you left and kept attacking is the whole reason this isn't allowed. If you sat there holding the button and got some water you'd stop attacking, but now you kept attacking being away. Which is botting. Taken from T&C Engage in robot play (i.e., "botting") or any other behavior that allows you (or any character you are controlling) to automatically function or effect any action in a game with or without your presence; Punishment: 1stoffence - 7 day ban, 2nd offence -permanent ban
