I understand. But I'm still a little confused. I wasn't really aware of what was going on, and I wasn't hitting the mobs for very long. Especially because I do not know who the hacker is, I do not think it is fair to ban me for minimal EXP gain that was accidentally achieved due to another players actions, who again I do not know.
From what I understand you were attacking those mobs for over 10 minutes. That's a pretty long time to be gaining items and exp from a character sucking mobs into one spot.
Id like to see that log or record, because I truly did not think I was doing anything bad for that long. But at the end of the day, it is your decision and I understand that. Maybe I should have known better that something fishy was going on, but I really didn’t think I could get banned for another players behavior that I did not plan with or even communicate with. I was more ignorant to the situation than anything. At the time I thought it was a bug and generally confused. Why would a guy place a hack on a map and die from it? Unless that is an evasion tactic I’m not aware of, nothing flicked in my head saying this was something I should run away from. I was just trying to experience the old game with a friend and have fun. He got me into it and I barely played on the account before getting caught up with another random player breaking the rules. If you guys still feel like I shouldn’t be allowed to play on your server, I respect your decision. But if you don't, I promise to be more active with reporting bad behavior and remove myself from people and situations that are not part of the game naturally.
mobs being flown and vacuum hacked to one location on the map with a dead hacker on top of it should be suspicious enough for you. what you did was trying to get some quick exp by attacking the stack of monsters, and not just for a little bit.
I understand where you are coming from, and the more I thought about it the more obvious it should have been to me. I regret doing that, but at the time I really wasn’t putting two and two together. According to your terms and conditions, the first offense should be a temporary ban of 7 days. I think this applies to me because it was my first offense, and I did not initiate the hack, or collude with the person who did. I did attack the mobs, and I am sorry for breaking the rules. I would like to emphasize that I would not take part in anything like this again, and that I know better now. I really am not trying to beat the system here, if I wanted super fast leveling, the regular base game of maplestory does a pretty good job of that from what I hear. I just wanted to experience the classic game with a friend or mine. I’m not sure if you guys are going to respond again, but I appreciate you hearing me out and not closing the thread immediately.
