You were swimming mid-air right on top of me during the Crane Climb event, and I have well over 100+ people who could vouch for that one. You have been permanently banned for hacking.
Thank you for getting back to me. After I joined the event, my gameplay screen was flashing violently and I can't see a thing. In hindsight, I check my client and notice it's not updated to the latest one. I'm not sure if it's the issue and could you check it by experimenting with account using the previous version of client? I think it would happen the same. I hate hackers as much as performing hacking acts as well. In my defense, I didn't use any hacking tools. Why would I even hack in a gm hosted event in the first place fancy that I will surely get banned in that map? Kindly please clarify , thank you.
Our client has a built-in window that pops up to let you know that your files are outdated and will not run the game until you've updated them. Since you chose to do this in a public GM Event with hundreds around to witness, the Staff are comfortable with me sharing the video in question of you 'lagging.' Your ban will remain. I can gladly ask for a second opinion if that is what you would like, though!
Thank you for the clarification by showing me the video. To be honest, if I were the gm, I would have banned myself too I have always appreciated the staff in MapleRoyals for committing in making the game hack-free and that's the very reason I choose to play in this server. As a player, what I can contribute in this server is by adhering to all the rules in order to make it a fair-playing ground. However, I feel wronged in this case because I really didn't use any hacking tool at all. If I know how to use the tool, I would have passed the zakum jump quest with ease instead of struggling for hours but in the end failed to pass it (Yes, it's a shame to say this, I didn't make the jump quest). This is about my credibility instead of just mere gameplay. I didn't want my reputation to get tarnished because of this false accusation. What I can prove is with the client files at my end. Could you kindly privately run the event again and log in the character using the client files? Thank for providing a copy of your files, we have managed to replicate the issue. It seems that you had somehow messed up your installation of the game, and used only the latest client but not the latest files which bypassed our 'client is outdated' window that pops up when you try to launch the game without updating your files. The reason why you were swimming is because that map was originally a GM Event called Sea Gorge Maze 2-9 (We originally made 9 maps to set them up, but scrapped the idea of having different maps of the same Event and I've been using those extra maps for new GM Event designs to save Map ID space in-game.) None of them had footholds in the map with the files you were using, they are client sided and we had the swimming enabled by default. Because you were using the wrong files, you didn't see the Kerning City background and you were seeing the Deep Sea Gorge one from the Aquarium, which explains why you were stuck 'falling' due to not having footholds on your end. Can you please do a full uninstall and reinstall of your game and then let us know once done so we can unban your accounts? I would also recommend whitelisting your downloads folder, and your Program Files (x86) folder too so that way your anti-virus doesn't uninstall the game anymore for you! I would like to apologize for this very rare circumstance, I'm very grateful that you also understand too why everyone had assumed you were intentionally hacking. I truly am sorry for this inconvenience.
