I believe it may have belonged to a past housemate. I have not interacted with them.

 

how come you have access to his accounts?

 

I do not have access to their account, they played through the same central PC if it maps to the same IP etc.

@Tim Can you please share which accounts you are referring to? We never played on the same PC simultaneously. We were always aware of the rules of the game. It's written that two players cannot have split instances of the game at the same time on the same PC since this constituents account sharing. It's stated that sharing a central PC is allowed.

I find this hard to believe. I only played simultaneously on my bishop and NL account with instances of MapleRoyals both of which belong to me.

 

@Tim It might help if you checked your logs carefully they might have a latency since once my roommate and I traded over items from the same PC. We didn't have each instance run simultaneously however as this would be interpreted as account sharing.

Given a minute expiry on dropped items, trading required consecutive login and logouts between us. This might have triggered a false positive.
