All Your Character Names: Drazzilder, Drazzimule, Drazzilsair, SmoothDrazz, Jazzilder Last thing you did: Farm Stoppers Why do you think you got banned?: I was farming stoppers while watching some YouTube. I was just holding down shinning ray while I was watching. I do this to make it easier on my hands because of my carpal tunnel. Normally I am good at checking on the screen every so often but I was very invested int he video and didn't pay attention for a bit. I only noticed when he GM flashed the screen. I was then informed I would be banned for robotic play. I understand there is video of me not responding, but I was holding down the key with my hand and was just not paying attention. I was distracted, not malicious. If you need any more information, let me know. I really hope we can get this resolved and I won't ever do anything like that again.
Hello. After reviewing the evidence against you, your ban will unfortunately have to remain. I did notice that this was your second ban for robotic play as well (previously banned in April of 2021) which unfortunately means you are permanently banned. I know it is not the answer you were hoping for, but we do have to stick to our Terms & Conditions. We wish you the best with your future endeavors.
5. Robotic Play - This act will be defined as the failure of a player to respond to a member of Staff when prompted and visibly at the controls of their character, as evidenced by actions such as movement or use of skills. In the situation where a player is prompting another player, a response is not strictly mandatory; however, a player report in which a player is being prompted numerous times without a response over a long period of time may be considered sufficient evidence for consequences under this rule at the discretion of Staff. As such, we strongly suggest to all players to respond to any prompts in order to avoid being portrayed in a manner which may not be true. The use of third-party key macros which cause one input action to register multiple outputs, or leaving weights on your keyboard, or any other method which allows your character to function without your presence or interaction will be considered grounds for consequences under this rule.
I did interact with the GM once I finally looked at my screen but I was at the keyboard holding down the button with my hand.
Unfortunately that is Robotic Play. Minutes went by without a response to the GM, and we have additional evidence showing further lack of response to another player for quite some time before we showed up. I wish there was something we could do, but there is not.
