All Your Character Names: chadb (don't remember the others since I've been inactive for a few years) Last thing you did: My brother was playing, training in Ariant Why do you think you got banned?: My brother is not good at english, so maybe he didnt answer ppl and they thought he was a bot? Otherwise i have no clue Ban message when attempting to log in: "This is an ID that has been deleted or blocked from connection. Please check again." What GM banned you (optional):
Hi there! So who's account is it? Is it your account, or your brother's? We have a rule against account sharing and allowing your brother to play on your account unfortunately breaks that rule and if he was training on your account in Ariant then unfortunately that is a permanent ban. You are not allowed to share accounts or give them to other people. In addition to that, you were caught hacking in 2024 which doesn't add up if you say you were last on it a few years ago...
To clarify, no my brother doesn't play on my account regularely. I introduced him to Maplestory recently (he's 9), and let him play on my account, yes. I really can't see how that justifies a perm ban Yes, I haven't played for 2 years and then recently came back. He played on my account for some time and then suddently got kicked out. And then the ban message appeared when we tried to log in again. So BEFORE that ban, as I specified I haven't played for a couple of years.
Well the reason logged in our Ban Log section another Staff member caught chadb hacking and that is why chadb was originally permanently banned, but now you are saying you were account sharing with your brother which is also another permanent ban as well, given how he was leveling your character for you and the rules I quoted above from the Game's ToS states what is considered account sharing. We also unfortunately have to adhere to the age rule which is PG 13. That means anybody younger than 13 cannot play the game yet, and that's due to potential risks and something we also have to enforce. albeit not as heavy handed typically once they reach age 13 they are free to play-- provided they don't break the other rules but in this instance multiple rules were broken here. Boosting another person's character via playing it is not allowed because it gives that person an advantage over others as listed in the quote I provided in my previous response. Just so we are clear, the ban was because you were caught hacking. The other rule-breaking incidents (account sharing and having somebody under the age of 13 playing) wasn't a part of the initial ban. But because that also happened, there's not really much we can do here as you've broken 2 rules (hacking and account sharing) and your brother is too young to play as per the guidelines listed under the rules. I'm sorry to say but the ban will have to remain. We wish you well on your future endeavors.
