If a member of staff talks to you, you can just say "Hi" or reply to us in Japanese if you like. That way, we will know you are there, even if we don't understand fully what you're saying. "Botting" can mean putting a heavy object on your key while you are afk - or appearing to be botting. If you're killing monsters but focussing on something else to the point where you appear to be afk (or are asleep at your keyboard) then we count that as botting.
