You are allowed to play as many accounts as you can handle, in any place you wish. What you are not allowed to do is vote on more than one of your accounts daily. Only one account per person per household can vote for NX daily. If there is more than one person playing in a household, they would have to apply for the Voting Whitelist and be accepted to it in order to each vote. And "per household" does not mean one can go to another house/location and vote there. And circumventing the restriction the website has on voting on the same IP once a day by changing it is not allowed. This rule is in place so people don't gain an advantage over players. If this rule wasn't in place, players could make as many accounts as they wished and get as much NX as they wish. That would make the game highly unbalanced, causing hyper inflation and other issues, while favoring players who make multiple accounts over those who only wish to play a few. In other words, if you as a person make more than 8,000NX in a 24-hour period via voting, you are breaking the voting rules. Whether you had malicious intention doing so is irrelevant. Whether the extra NX was used on cosmetics is irrelevant. Whether you were ignorant to that rule is irrelevant. Every player has to agree to the Terms of Service before they play the game, which means you agree to the voting rules before you ever sign into the game. We also have notices on the voting page itself, Maple Tips that occasionally appear during gameplay, and the Shanks Quest on Maple Island, which requires you to read, understand, and choose the correct answer about the voting rules before you can leave the Island. It is the player's responsibility to be aware of these rules. Since the Admins issued a Major Vote Abuse Ban here, the number of times you extra voted was more than what could be forgiven with a Minor Vote Abuse Ban. The Whitelist exists so that if there is more than one person playing Royals in the same household (most often siblings), then applying and being accepted on the Whitelist lets each individual player vote for their NX. Also, there are only a few Staff members who handle the Whitelist, and the process to get accepted is quite strict.
