Why do you think you got banned?: Some sort of mistake must have happened in your guys' banning system because MY account IDs have nothing to do with the character mentioned in my ban reason, and said character is not even registered TO ANY of my accounts. (robbynl, or robbybish.) However, it's also important to note that my computer uses random IPs when connecting to games as an automatic safety mechanism in my advanced firewall meaning somehow, maybe this mysterious hacker used the same one my computer did. (If I don't allow my PC to do this, I am fully unable to connect to any games, including MapleRoyals as it blocks the connection.) The same thing actually happened to one of my first accounts on here, but I only had originally made the account for testing out the server to see if my friends and I would be interested in joining together, (which we absolutely were), and did not really feel any concern to the banning of the account. My ACTUAL IP is: 65.96.242.67 ... I try to ensure I use the same IP when voting so that I don't get in trouble with any of your guyses' voting terms and conditions. (Although I ONLY vote on one account, anyways.) Ban message when attempting to log in: "Your account has been permanently banned for serious violation of the rules. Therefore you will be unable to use this account. Details: Autoban CheckMySkirt High damage 2139999999 on Zombie Mushroom. What GM banned you (optional): It was an autoban, so the system banned me. Hi, Katsuruka. Thanks for the quick reply. -- It's basically like a proxy/vpn service provided by a paid-for firewall, yes. So when connecting to programs that send/receive data, it uses a proxy-like function. And as to your second question, no. I was never aware of being banned for mob vaccing. Could this be the cause of the ban of my first mentioned account above? As I stated previously, I have never had / or will have any intentions of being illegitimate on this server in any way, shape, or form. I'm looking to play the game as a LEGIT bishop who sells leech to friends and others as a source of income since that is how I played Maple GMS in the old days. I really can not offer any better explanation for the ban you mentioned above, simply because I have no knowledge of that what-so-ever. Should you not believe me, I ask that you follow through with an un-ban and watch me like a hawk until you feel I have proven the sincerity in my words. OK, let me see if I'm understanding you correctly - you originally made a test account here to see if the server would be worth playing? Did you use hacks on that account?
Sorry for the inconvenience, I can see now why using "testing" was a poor choice to describe my day one joining. Allow me to explain myself; No I did not. By "test" I meant logging in, making a character, while gauging stability, (lag, dcs, etc.) And I tried going through Maple Island while looking at the constant smega's coursing through the chat-log. I was blown away but how tightly knit and active the server's community was, as well as the great stability, game features, and more. So, I relayed a message to all of my friends saying " THIS IS THE ONE. " The server most of my friends and I have/ are going to be joining from, (not mentioning the name) has recently become quite laggy, unstable, and the community is dying very quickly due to a lack of updates and so many problems in-game. So to me.. and others.. this is like a haven we've been looking for to enjoy our Maple days. When I logged off of that account, I went to bed due to having class the next day along with many tests/quizzes to deal with. I came on the next day after school and found my account was banned, but I brushed this off since I had made a new account and intended on waiting for my friends to make characters with me, where we would then begin our journey TOGETHER through Maple Island. (this would be where my character, HealForPay, came from.) Hopefully that clears some things up. I apologize for making this such a lengthy process for you. Hi, John. Basically, it's a combination of AVG Firewall, and the well known VPN, Hotspotshield. When my firewall detects a connection to the game, it launches hotspotshield automatically, instead of blocking the connection. Edit: If necessary, I can refrain from using this.
Well first, I don't know how AVG automatically launches HotSpot Shield. I've never heard of that. Second, according to Kat, your actual IP has been associated with a banned account, so I think regardless of your AVG/HotSpot Shield setup, the bigger issue is that.
You're right. It is not apart of the official program release but rather a coding addition to the program made by an old Maplestory server developer I used to collaborate with. He originally made it for me for privacy and protection of my original IP since I used to take the position of "Co-Owner" of his servers and he wished to have him and all staff members have an incognito position in the world regarding their IP. However I am absolutely not inclined to feel threatened by any of MapleRoyal's community so that's why I gave it out so easily. As I said before, I really have no relation to those bans and all I'm asking for is the ability to be able to play MapleRoyals legitimately on my cleric, and I have not committed to any harm against the server's community, or gained anything unfairly from ANY actions taken by me. Therefore, I'll ask once more; Please. Unban me and allow me to be apart of the server, again. Whether you believe anything I've said or not, the TRUTH is that all I'm looking for is to play the game while abiding by all of the rules. Thanks. - Robby.
You didn't answer my last concern at all though. Your real IP address (65.96.242.67) is associated with at least three accounts (took a quick look). One of which has a username royalbot and contains the character rager which was banned for Hacking. The royalbot account, along with another account accessed by your IP both have a level 1 character with gibberish letters as an IGN. I can only presume what the purpose of those characters was for. So my question still remains, how come there are three accounts already associated with your real IP address (besides the one HealForPay is on) and they were legitimately banned for hacking?

Well, one of the accounts you voted from contained a gibberish IGN, which is linked to another account containing a gibberish IGN, which also is associated with someone who was definitely hacking. Combine all of the other things we found and detailed in our posts, and it seems that at one point you were hacking on the server. Sorry but you will not be unbanned.
.... I'm quite upset with the way this has been handled considering I have literally done NONE of the things considered here. You guys lacked the ability to even come up with an explanation for the reason my account was banned IN THE FIRST PLACE, "Your account has been permanently banned for serious violation of the rules. Despite how absolutely enraged I am and how obvious you people seem to be making some sort of mistake, I am still LOYAL to the server and want to be a part of it. Even though I have literally not done a single darned thing wrong here, might you at LEAST unban my IP/macs if they are banned so I can continue playing on YET ANOTHER account, (assuming you people don't ban me on that one for no reason as well?)
