Do you recognize the IGN buyaccsmom? It would have been from awhile ago, so you might need to think carefully here.

Could you be more specific, or could I have a date range? Is this an account I have traded or interacted with? I don't remember this IGN immediately.

It was in 2018, so a while back. It is an IGN that we think you owned.

I do recall making an account before this one. This was many years ago, and the only faint memory I have would be me going to the FM and spam dropping meso and then logging off and not returning to the game till this account was made.
I do not remember the IGN, login ID, or any other information other than that. However, I don't think I did anything against the rules on it and never made it past the early levels.

How exactly did you go about "spam dropping" that mesos though?

I don't remember exactly how, since it's been around 7 years.
I might've used an autoclicker, or it might've been manual.
All I know is that I didn't know you could hold down your Enter key and spam click the meso icon in your inventory to drop, I only learned about that after I made this account. So I would've put the inventory meso icon on top of the "ok" and spam clicked in one way or another.
I'm pretty sure if what I'm remembering is correct, the account would be under level 15, and the account would've at max dropped 5-15k meso in total.

Unfortunately we have evidence of your character dropping the meso faster than normally possible, even if you were to use spam clicks. In addition to that we took this from your chat logs at the time where you claimed that it was duped money that you were dropping

I genuinely don't remember saying this, but since it's in the logs I won't fight it, I obviously said it.

I joined this server when I was 19 and did not take it seriously when I first started; considering I made this account, did these actions, and then quit the server for years without even the knowledge of this ban. I came from other online games where stupid conversations like this happen and it's not looked at in the same severity as it is here. It's difficult for me to remember what exactly I was doing back then, but my guess is that I was using an autoclicker to spam drop mesos (faster than normally possible, probably with the use of AHK/Low ping) and claiming it was duped. I can't use the logs to my defence because I don't have access to them, but can I ask you, did this account ever have any significant wealth on it?

While I understand these logs are a cause for concern; I know I never duped, hacked, rwted, or broke any serious game rules. The person I was 7 years ago does not reflect the person I am today and I hope staff can see this.

We understand that you don't vividly remember actions of 7 years ago, but this kind of dropping speed cannot be achieved with low ping

As I mentioned above, to achieve this I used AHK (autoclicker), but low ping does absolutely play a role in how effective it can be.

From your response, my interpretation is that you believe I was hacking or using some kind of client modification, and I want to make it clear that I was not. The logs obviously don't paint a great picture since I'm talking about duping, but I was being an idiot 7 years ago and lying to someone because it was cool to act like I could do those things.
Again, the logs should show that I was not hacking, duping, or making any illegal client modifications back then.

I am willing and able to prove to you in-game (in jail of course) the method to achieve this kind of drop speed and will provide you with the means to replicate it yourself to test its validity.

We updated your ban duration to 28 days meaning you will remain banned until June 29th.
We came to that conclusion for the following reasons:

    1. 14 day ban for using alternate methods to dropping mesos under the rule described here: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/clarification-of-third-party-hard-and-software-benefits.136768/ (rule was applied retroactively to other players in the same scenario as well)
    2. 14 day ban for offering to share your rule breaking secret(s) to a friend for $50 - joking about real world trade in the context.
    3. You did not appeal the initial (permanent)ban and started new accounts 4 years later meaning the infraction by extension applies to you: 1. Ban Evasion - The act of circumventing a ban that exists on a player through the use of any means with the intent to, or accomplishing, access of the game on any account. Punishment: Identical to the consequence of which the player attempts to, or already has, circumvented. 28 days for the original bans have passed between 2018 and 2022, but you will be serving an equal 28 day ban for technically evading your ban.
Based on the logged context and your honest replies in your appeal so far we believe this happened:

    • Your friend created and played on a character named 'Buyacc'
    • You didn't play mapleroyals at the time, and created an account and character specifically to meet up with your friend and mess around, you named it 'buyaccsmom' to reflect that.
    • You had experience with autoclickers / fast click third party software from using it in other games, and tried it next to your friend in mapleroyals.
    • Your friend asked what was going on and how you did that, to which you replied: $50. While in reality you were a lvl 17 character with less than 20k mesos.
    • This wasn't taken as a serious offer and no replies reflecting that were made.
    • You did not log in to show off to players you didn't know, you didn't seek out others and advertise cheats or solicit real world trade with them, you simply logged off to never return to that account after messing around with your friend likely not knowing you were banned after those actions.
    • 4 years later you made game accounts to play normally on a different setup and connection, possibly not remembering what you did 4 years ago on one random day with your friend 'buyacc' on this server.
It's with this context that we decided that you should serve the 28 day ban that you've technically been evading.
