ALL Your Character Names: xMaxLowD3x NireKvar FighterHEART Last thing you did: 3rd of February 2023. Why do you think you got banned?: Hello, I'm writing this with complete respect for the MapleRoyals staff and community. I understand my appeal was previously denied and I also understand the risk of posting again, but I wanted to make one final and sincere request for reconsideration. I was banned on February 3rd 2023. It’s now been almost two and a half years and not a single week has gone by where I haven’t thought about the time I spent on MapleRoyals. I regret the mistake I made and more than anything I miss being part of the community. From time to time when I was briefly looking through the ban appeals on the forum, I noticed that some players who committed serious violations such as vote abuse, account sharing, botting, or even first-time real-world trading attempts received temporary bans, warnings, or in some cases a second chance to come back. I want to be clear I’m not saying those decisions were wrong. On the contrary, I think it shows that Royals values context, growth, and the possibility that people can learn from their actions. I'm now close to 30 and I’ve grown a lot since then. The lesson has stuck with me deeply. I’m not here to beg or make excuses. I only hope you can consider my situation in light of how long it’s been and how others with equally serious or even more direct violations were handled with a bit of leniency. If there’s any way to return, even under a probation or restricted status, I would be truly grateful. I’d be happy to accept any conditions just to prove I’ve changed and that I genuinely want to be part of this community again. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Regardless of the outcome I appreciate everything MapleRoyals gave me and the memories I still hold. Hi Dave, Thank you again for getting back to me. To be honest, I didn’t save links from the past, but I’ve recently taken time to look through the ban appeal forum more carefully. I came across a few examples that gave me a better understanding of how some situations were approached with time, honesty, and growth in mind: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-appeal.246604/ : Player banned and given a second look after years https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-appeal.236335/ : Reconsidered after time and sincere reflection https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-appeal.241682/ : A long passed case received thoughtful review https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-appeal.224550/ : Ban reconsidered after significant time away https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-appeal.226847/ : Follow up accepted after prior denial and time passed https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-appeal.241447/ : Ban lifted after staff reconsidered the circumstances and recognized the player’s situation deserved a second chance https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-appeal-for-leeching.92415/ : Original permanent ban replaced with a 14-day ban following staff review and understanding of the situation I know decisions are not taken lightly and I deeply respect that. I’m not here to justify what happened or to make excuses, only to say that I’ve had nearly two and a half years to reflect on everything and I carry a lot of regret. MapleRoyals meant more to me than I realized at the time and I would give anything to simply be part of that world again. This isn’t just about nostalgia. It’s about recognizing how much I took for granted, how a single mistake on my part can carry lasting consequences, and how much I’ve changed since then. I miss the community, the memories, and the sense of belonging that came with playing. If there's any chance to return, even under conditions or review, I’d be sincerely grateful. I completely understand if the answer remains the same but I wanted to ask one last time, respectfully and honestly. Thank you again for your time. If possible, I’d appreciate a private message.
We’ve reviewed your latest appeal, and while we acknowledge the respectful tone, we need to address some false claims you’ve made regarding how bans are handled on MapleRoyals. You stated that players who committed serious violations such as vote abuse, account sharing, botting, or even first-time RWT received temporary bans or second chances. That is simply not true, and we want to clarify the examples you appear to be referring to: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-appeal.236335/ - This case involved Minor Vote Abuse, which is a 14-day ban as per our Terms and Conditions. Major Vote Abuse results in a permanent ban. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-appeal.241447/ - You’ve misunderstood this case. The player was not given a "second chance". The original permanent ban was issued in error and was corrected to the appropriate 14-day ban. This was Staff correcting a mistake, not showing leniency. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-appeal-for-leeching.92415/ - As explained by Sila (GM at the time), this was a case of Glitch Abuse, which carries a 14-day ban for the first offense and a permanent ban for repeat offenses. The punishment applied was exactly in line with our policy. Regarding the 4 appeals below: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-appeal.246604/ https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-appeal.241682/ https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-appeal.224550/ https://royals.ms/forum/threads/ban-appeal.226847/ All involved Robotic Play, which is a 14-day ban. You seem to be confusing this with Macro Botting, which does result in a permanent ban. These cases were all handled correctly and do not support your argument. Now, regarding your case: Your permanent ban for Real World Trading has been reviewed multiple times by both the GMs and Admins, and it was not issued in error. You were caught and banned for RWT, which is a zero-tolerance offense on MapleRoyals. No one banned for RWT has ever been given a second chance, and we do not make exceptions. We understand you're hoping to return, but we do not appreciate the misleading claims made in your appeal - particularly the suggestion that Staff are inconsistent or biased in how bans are handled. That is simply not the case. Given the repeated appeals and now the attempt to misrepresent our enforcement history, we’re making it clear that you are no longer welcome on the MapleRoyals forums.
