In September 2024, I was permanently banned due to vote abusing. Regarding vote abusing, I genuinely did not understand it at first because my English is very poor. Even now, I need my friend’s help to translate what I am writing. I admit that I did engage in vote abusing shortly after I joined MapleRoyals. In my first one or two weeks, I had 2–3 accounts, and I initially believed I could get 8,000 NX per day for each account to use for pets, clothing, and other in-game items. Later, I made some friends in the game who told me that what I was doing was not allowed and could result in a ban. I immediately stopped the vote abusing behavior. You can check the logs—I can’t remember the exact date since it has been some time, but I believe it was after May 20th that I completely stopped this behavior, and I did not do it again up until I was banned in September. I fully acknowledge that the vote abusing was my fault. Every day after learning it was wrong, I worried about being banned, but I did not know what to do. My friends suggested that I could “confess” on the forum, but I was still too afraid of being banned. I truly realized my mistake and corrected it right away. I understand that vote abusing is unfair to other players. I believe that my one-year ban has been enough to make up for my mistake.
