Hi Tim, Yes, my neighbour uses my internet connection and I introduced him to MapleRoyals. In fact, xTehC is his account. However, I was not aware of the fact that he did hack previously nor did he tell me before. I confronted him and he admitted to it yesterday night. I am really not involved and would never do any unfair actions in the game. Please help me, thank you.
Only one character? You have two accounts and one character on each. As for your neighbour - well, yes, it does look like he plays from a different computer but from the same internet network as you. However, how do we know he's your neighbour and that it's not just you playing on a second computer? You've already said one thing that wasn't the truth...
The account is for my younger sister who hardly plays, I have not touched that account before. My sister has since stopped playing that account as well. And as for my neighbour's character, you can check the game log, chat log, etc (i'm not sure). There were instances where we Ludi PQ'ed together a few times together with my other friends (houseboyz, BiRuu) who started with me. This should prove that it's really two people on two accounts. I am working and studying at the same time, and really do not have time to create two accounts or whatsoever. I am speaking entirely the truth this whole time. I have never benefitted from any form of hacking and do not intend or wish to, ever. If you are able to look at my past playtime and records, you will see that I am putting in effort into playing and training up my character. Kindly assist me in this matter, thank you.
With all due respect, I am writing a second reply to speed things up and hopefully put an end to this thread. You said I wasn't telling the truth about the second account. Here is the reason why I did not mention it: 1) It was created for my younger sister, to try and get her to play MapleRoyals together with me. I had no intention of using it. 2) As mentioned above, I had never once logged into the other account meant for my sister. It was natural that I did not remember about it when I was faced with this issue. 3) My sister's account had nothing related to do with the ban, so I hadn't thought of mentioning it. Neither was there any thing above which asked for it as well in the starting thread. I don't think there was any vote abuse concerning the 2 accounts. I have never once gotten 16k NX Cash from the accounts in a day and have only voted once a day to get my 8k NXCash for my account with Tickles in it. You can check it out. Hence, I do not get why the second account would come into the picture. I wasn't lying about anything, so please do not call me a liar/hacker. I understand you GM's positions in that you cannot take anyone's word simply and there are many people who would attempt to lie and cheat their way through. But this is not me. However, I only have my own conscience as proof of my innocence, and I can only hope you believe me. I believe that this ban appeal forum corner is meant to help people who feel that they have been wrongly banned (thus calling it ban appeal), and that is the reason I put up this thread. However, I feel as though it has become more of a cynical and suspicion-raising place to be in here. Yet, I understand the difficulty you GMs face and the many liars that make this place so. One point I'd like to raise is: Like what my other friends told me, if I had wanted to hack, why wait to use a second account? Why not just use my account with this character "Tickles" in it? I want to repeat my point in that I have always played fair and just in my only account, and the reason I am fighting so hard is because I enjoy playing in this server together with my friends who started with me. The mistake made by my neighbour is not mine to bear, and I am already suffering from his mistakes as of yesterday. If I were really a hacker, why would I try so hard to save a LVL 51 account which I took around 8 days to train up in a private server and not just create a whole new account or go to other private servers? If you do not believe me still, you can check my game logs, chat logs, whatever. Put me on probation for a few months. Follow my progress and things I do to see if I really do hack. And then you will discover the truth about whether I'm a hacker or not. Finally, I just want to say that even though you may make a wrong judgment in this matter, I fully respect your decision as the GMs in this issue, and I can only hope you make the correct decision. I am not a hacker and never will be. I am sorry if I came off as rude or bad-mannered, it was not intended - It's just that the frustration I feel being punished for something I am innocent of is not a good feeling to have. The big problem is that someone has hacked on your ip. Even if that person is your neighbour, he uses your internet connection and we have to keep him banned properly.
