Hello, I got temp banned for using profane language.... just a few things i would like to say... Why is there no language FILTER???? And Why was i not contacted by a GM and Warned Prior to banning me? I use to run my own private server and this is very unprofessional to just ban someone for saying any kind of curse word.. Like Honestly.. I will sit this ban out i suppose, but i recommend you guys put a mature language filter on so other people don't make the same mistake, that's pretty dumb that you give players the capability to swear when its a ban-able offense, which is in my vocabulary regardless. THANK YOU GM'S! I LOVE THIS P SERVER SO MUCH.
You agreed to the Terms of Service when you registered your account, that is your warning. In there, it clearly states what the penalty is for profane/offensive behavior, so really, I don't know why you are trying to blame us for anything, especially since if you had not used profanity, you would have never been banned in the first place.
Like i said, its in my vocabulary and it just kind of flows out there as most other words would, especially on an online game where i typically have no rightful way to act as a golden citizen when i dont know 99% of the users in real life. Obviously i would like to get un-banned today instead of later.. trying to play with friends that i recruited to your server.. as you can tell i am annoyed and think i should be online putting in work!.
There's no language filter because the staff are trusting us as adults to be able to use language maturely and in moderation rather than just outright banning it. If you, for example, want to use that language over buddy chat and none of your friends are offended by it then we're given that option. But that doesn't extend to publicly speaking with profane language or using it to harass other people.
Lots of jokes were being said first of all over smegas, i went to far.. I GUESS? lol its all good. just relax. seems like a flaw in the system in my eyes. just wanted that to be known by my 1 opinion i have.
There isn't a language filter because you can say pretty much whatever you want in guild/buddy chat as long as your guild/friends are ok with it. The terms and conditions state clearly which words are banned from Smegas, and I'm sure you'll have seen the RoyalTip ingame that lets you know that warnings aren't given prior to bans.
