Why do you think you got banned?: the server saw I was trying to sit in a chair that I didn't have (because I had just dropped it), and assumed hax. you might want to prevent dropping deployed chairs, because I could see this being abused vs. noobs as a much more malicious version of the "jump while crying" prank. Er, I'm sorry if I missed something, but when I read the T&C (https://royals.ms/forum/threads/game-terms-conditions.353/) I didn't see this mentioned, and that set of rules gets very specific. I thought that autoban was just being wonky; what is this "chair dropping glitch," and why does it warrant a ban? If it's a known thing that hurts the server or something, I feel like it should be mentioned in the rules so that people like me can't blindly walk into it.
Thanks for the dismissive answer... sorry if I'm sounding rude here, but your responses so far have been frustrating at best. Yes, as I said: I read the rules. "Don't hack or abuse bugs/glitches." I just don't understand how I was "abusing" a glitch here. There's nothing wrong with harmless, aesthetic glitches (jumping while sitting in a chair, down-jumping while sitting for the invisible chair glitch) and I don't see what makes this any different; I had time to kill, noticed a visual glitch, and attempted to reproduce it. While I'm sorry if this is a known thing that swamps the server with error messages or something, I have to ask: if it's so serious, then shouldn't I have been warned about it at some point? I literally hadn't heard a thing about this "chair glitch" until you brought it up, and Google isn't giving me any answers either. If you need any proof of my innocence, it should all be there in the chat logs. I'd seen someone who appeared to be walking while sitting in a chair and was trying to think up ways to reproduce that effect. I got this instead, should I be proud?
I suppose I could explain you why it's considered a glitch and why it warrants a 1 day ban. As innocent as it seems to drop a chair you only have 1 of in your inventory while you're sitting on it, it's considered as an attempt to duplicate the chair. Now we may not all be aware of this being an attempt to dupe the chair, but we are all aware that duping is most definitely not allowed on this server. Because of this we have decided to unban players after 24 hours if they do happen to get autobanned for dropping a chair. I hope this reply suffices your question of why it's bannable what you did.
Thanks, that's the answer I was looking for. Kind of hilarious to me that a duping glitch is as simple as that... but I guess that's the price to pay for old maple!
